How to Get Arbiter: A Step-by-Step Classic Arena Guide

Arbiter is a legendary support you cannot pull from shards or buy in the shop — she is the final reward of the Progress Missions chain. For most players the real roadblock is the Classic Arena block: you need to reach Gold I and clear dozens of arena objectives along the way. Here is a practical plan for that stretch of the chain.

How the mission chain works

Arbiter is the final reward of the Progress Missions chain. You can only advance in order: the objectives are grouped into blocks — campaign, dungeons, Clan Boss, events and arena. You cannot skip a block, but you do not have to get stuck on one either, because many conditions complete in parallel during normal play.

So do not treat arena as a separate project for later. While you clear PvE missions, spend your arena tokens every day — by the time Gold I comes up in the queue you will already have wins on the counter and a stock of medals.

What the arena block actually asks for

  • Reaching Gold I in Classic Arena. This is the main gate; without it the chain stalls.
  • Wins in Classic Arena. There are several such objectives, dozens of battles in total — no special farming needed if you play daily.
  • Great Hall upgrades. Missions require specific bonus levels, and medals only come from arena battles.
  • Classic Arena, not Tag Team. Tag Team Arena battles do not count for these objectives.

The logic is simple: the arena block is not one lucky fight, it is a few weeks of routine. Start early and you will not be waiting at the finish line.

Gear and masteries: what actually matters

In arena, the first turn decides almost everything. Speed is the priority stat for your speed aura lead and your turn meter booster — build them as fast as your gear allows, even at the cost of damage and survivability.

Accuracy is for your control and debuff champions; without it, stuns and Decrease DEF simply bounce off enemy RES. Build damage dealers with high C.RATE and C.DMG, and give supports HP, DEF and some RES so they survive to their turn.

Rebuild masteries for arena: speed and first-turn options on the booster, damage on the nuker, survivability on the support. A PvE build often runs at half strength here, and that is fine.

Team shape: speed, buff strip, finish

The working skeleton of any arena team is: speed aura lead → turn meter booster → buff strip and debuffs → nuker → support for revives and backup. Stacking five damage dealers makes no sense — without the first turn they just stand there.

RoleWho fitsWhy
Speed aura and boostDeacon Armstrong, SeekerTake the first turn and push the team forward
Buff strip and debuffsMadame Serris, Dhukk the PiercedBreak enemy defences and cut their damage
ControlUmbral Enchantress, Conellia, Inquisitor ShamaelProvoke, sleep, punish buffers
DamageSkullcrown, Gala Longbraids, Magnarr, Fenax, Genbo the DishonoredFinish after DEF is broken; Fenax and Genbo also block revives and Unkillable
SupportUrsala the Mourner, Rector Drath, Vogoth, Runekeeper DazdurkHealing, shields, revives

If you were lucky with legendaries — Siphi the Lost Bride, Yumeko, Hilvi the Rime-called, Bayek, Armanz the Magnificent — they can almost carry arena alone. For Gold I they are not required: well-built epics are enough.

Climbing the ladder

  • Do not sit on full tokens — spend them through the day or you lose points and medals.
  • Check the enemy lead before the fight: if they have a speed aura and your booster is slower, skip that one.
  • Refresh the opponent list and hunt free wins — teams with no booster and no support.
  • Keep a real defence team up: defence wins also give points and medals, while a throwaway defence drops you out of Gold.
  • The easiest push is right before the arena reset, when activity is higher and the list holds more weak teams.

Great Hall: where medals go

Medals are the only arena currency, and they are also required by missions. Spend priority: Speed first, then Accuracy, C.DMG or HP depending on who carries your team. Do not dump everything into the first bonus you see — missions ask for specific levels, and a medal reserve saves a lot of time.

Remember that Great Hall bonuses apply to your whole account, not just arena — it is a long-term investment rather than a one-off purchase for a single mission.

Summary

  1. Arbiter rewards the whole Progress Missions chain, not one arena stunt.
  2. The main gate is Gold I in Classic Arena plus dozens of wins and Great Hall levels.
  3. Build the "speed aura → boost → buff strip → nuker → support" core and stack speed.
  4. Spend tokens daily, pick opponents carefully and keep a real defence.
  5. Bank medals in advance and put them into Speed, not random bonuses.
