Clan Quests in RAID: Shadow Legends are the most underrated resource tap in the game: most players clear them by accident and then wonder why their clan plateaus. Here is the practical version — how to read the quest board, what to clear first, and how to split the work so nobody burns energy for nothing.
How Clan Quests actually work
Clan Quests are a shared board that every clan member sees in the Clan section. The conditions are simple: do something in a specific mode — clear Campaign stages, win Arena battles, finish Dungeons, deal damage to the Clan Boss or Hydra. Progress counts for the whole clan, so ten people doing one battle each finish a quest faster than one player doing ten.
- Quests are grouped by mode and come in several tiers, from a minimal requirement to a serious grind.
- Rewards are clan-facing: Clan Gold, clan progress, plus usual resources such as energy, potions and shards.
- The board refreshes on a schedule, so leaving everything for the last hour is the worst plan available.
Start by reading the board properly
First step: translate the wording into modes. Win in Dungeons and win in high-level Dungeons are completely different asks in terms of energy cost and team requirements.
- Check where progress is counted: one specific Dungeon, any Dungeon, or boss kills only.
- Look for stage or difficulty restrictions — low floors often do not count.
- Split quests into do-it-during-the-day (Arena, Campaign, dailies) and needs-a-dedicated-team (Hydra, high floors).
- Mark what the clan has already half-done: finishing someone else's progress is cheaper than starting from zero.
After that, one rule covers most cases: cheapest by resources first, most expensive last. Otherwise half the clan dumps energy into small stuff and has nothing left for the big objective.
Fast quests: Campaign, Arena, Dungeons
Campaign and energy
Campaign is the cheapest source of progress. Set Multi-Battle on the stage you already farm for XP or gear and the quest completes itself. Do not build a separate route for a checkbox — clears count wherever you level your champions anyway.
Arena
Arena stacks neatly with dailies: same battles, same rewards. The key is not to dump your rating for a quest. Three or four wins spread across the day cost far less than a desperate run in the final hour. Build a fast team around speed boosters and control: Deacon Armstrong and Seeker solve most initiative problems, Doompriest covers you against debuffs.
Dungeons and bosses
Here consistency beats speed: one run on the floor you farm daily is better than assembling a new team for a quest. Do not postpone the Clan Boss or Hydra either — keys and attempts expire on schedule, and quest progress comes from the exact same actions.
Teamwork: splitting the load
- Pinned message in clan chat or Discord: who takes Campaign, who takes Arena, who takes bosses.
- Do not duplicate expensive quests: if three people jump into Hydra for one condition, everyone pays for it.
- A reminder the day before the reset is the single most useful habit an officer can have.
- Leave easy conditions to newer members: their contribution still feeds the shared progress bar.
Build a roster that clears quests anyway
You do not need dedicated quest champions — you need generalists who cover several modes. Cardiel and Krisk bring support and control, Mithrala Lifebane adds protection and cleanse, Acrizia and Gnut deliver boss damage, Valkyrie covers shields and team survival.
The accessible epic pool is more than enough: Deacon Armstrong and Seeker for Arena, Geomancer and Fayne for bosses and Hydra, Demytha, Pain Keeper and Skullcrusher for survival and buffs, Toragi The Frog and Myciliac Priest Orn for shields and healing, Frozen Banshee and Dark Kael for poison on the Clan Boss, Maneater for combo setups.
Common mistakes
- Burning energy on a quest whose reward does not pay for the run.
- Waiting until the last day: the board refreshes and progress resets.
- Entering high-tier conditions with an unprepared team — wasted keys and time.
- Ignoring the Clan Shop: Clan Gold piles up while the shelves stay useful.
- Treating quests as a personal task: progress is shared, but so are the requirements.
Summary
Fast Clan Quests are not about roster power, they are about planning: read the board, separate cheap conditions from expensive ones, assign them in chat, and glue them to what you already do every day. Campaign goes on Multi-Battle, Arena rides along with dailies, bosses get their keys spent on schedule. Do that and quests fade into the background while your clan keeps collecting rewards.
