Accuracy is the most underrated stat in RAID: Shadow Legends — it is the reason a team that seemingly works suddenly cannot poison a boss and why Decrease DEF keeps getting resisted. Below are practical Accuracy ranges for every content type, a short explanation of the check itself and the mistakes that cost the most.
How the Accuracy vs Resistance check works
Whenever a champion tries to place a debuff, the game compares their Accuracy with the target's Resistance. Fall short and you get the Resist pop-up: the debuff is gone, and sometimes so is the run. The bigger your cushion above the enemy's Resistance, the more reliably poisons, burns, Decrease DEF, Freeze and other control land.
- There is always a resist chance. Even with a huge margin a small share of debuffs will still fail — usually just a few percent. There is no perfect Accuracy, only enough.
- It affects debuffs only. Damage, healing and buffs on your own team never need Accuracy.
- Immunity cannot be brute-forced. Boss passives and Block Debuffs ignore your Accuracy completely.
- Requirements scale with content. Higher stages and difficulties resist more; in Arena it depends entirely on the enemy build.
Accuracy ranges by content
These are practical working ranges, not the exact Resistance of every enemy. If your Accuracy sits inside the range, debuffs land consistently; going far beyond it usually wastes stats that could be Speed or survivability.
| Content | Working Accuracy |
|---|---|
| Campaign and early dungeons (1–13) | 50–100 |
| Dungeons 14–20 | 150–220 |
| Dungeons 21–25 | 250–350 |
| Faction Wars, stage 21 | 200–250 |
| Clan Boss: Easy–Brutal | 80–150 |
| Clan Boss: Nightmare | 200–250 |
| Clan Boss: Ultra-Nightmare | 250–300 |
| Doom Tower, normal | 200–300 |
| Doom Tower, hard | 350–500 |
| Hydra | 300–400 |
| Iron Twins, Sand Devil, Cursed City | 350–500 |
| Arena | 300+ (situational) |
The logic is simple: around dungeon stage 20 roughly 200 Accuracy is enough, while stages 24–25 push the bar noticeably higher. Hard Doom Tower and late endgame are the strictest checks, and that is where debuffer builds break most often.
Who needs Accuracy — and who doesn't
Accuracy is mandatory for anyone who places effects: poisoners (Kael and any other poison champion), HP burners, Decrease DEF and Decrease ATK champions, stunners and freezers, provokers, and anyone landing debuffs on Hydra heads and bosses.
It is useless on pure damage dealers who only hit with raw damage, on healers, buffers and tanks without control. Putting Accuracy on a nuker at the cost of crit damage and Speed is the classic beginner mistake.
Where to get Accuracy
- An Accuracy banner — the main source, and the reason debuffers shop for a specific banner.
- Accuracy and Perception sets — the cheapest way to top up, and Perception adds Speed as well.
- The Eagle Eye mastery in the Support tree — close to mandatory on every debuffer.
- Great Hall — a permanent Accuracy bonus for the whole account.
- Accuracy auras on some champions and substats on gear cover the last few dozen points.
Common mistakes
- Building 400 Accuracy where 200 is enough — you lose Speed, damage and survivability.
- Forgetting Speed: 300 Accuracy on a slow champion is worthless because the debuff never gets applied in time.
- Ignoring Resistance in Arena: against bulky teams you either push Accuracy higher or switch to a raw damage plan.
- Expecting Accuracy to punch through immunity or Block Debuffs.
- Slapping Accuracy on a damage dealer just in case.
Summary
Stick to simple benchmarks: early content 50–100 Accuracy, regular dungeons and Clan Boss up to Brutal 150–200, stage 20 dungeons and Nightmare around 200–250, and stages 25, Ultra-Nightmare, Hydra and hard Doom Tower 300 and above. Cover your debuffers with Accuracy first and only then think about extra margin: an unnecessary 100 Accuracy will almost never pay off like +30 Speed.
