First Week in RAID: Shadow Legends — A Step-by-Step Account Plan

The first week in RAID: Shadow Legends sets the pace for the whole account: in seven days you either end up with one strong campaign farmer and a working team, or you scatter resources across a dozen champions and stall halfway through the campaign. Below is a step-by-step plan with no filler: what to level, where to spend energy, and what to ignore while the account is still fresh.

Days 1–2: starter pick and the road to Brutal

The starter choice barely matters long term, but it shapes your first two weeks.

  • Kael — the most versatile: poison helps in campaign, Clan Boss and dungeons alike.
  • Athel — ATK aura and steady damage, comfortable against bosses.
  • Elhain — solid AoE, clears waves and farms campaign fast.
  • Galek — also viable, just a bit more gear-hungry.

After that, it is campaign and nothing else. Your goal for two days: clear Normal and Hard, unlock Brutal, and reach 12-3 on Brutal. That stage becomes your home for the week — it is where you level champions and where silver comes from, since shields from it sell better than most junk. Dungeons, Arena and events before 12-3 give scraps, so do not get distracted.

Never let energy sit at cap: it regenerates and goes to waste, and free refills from dailies and level-ups are your main resource in the first days.

Days 3–4: your first 6-star and basic gear

The rule of the week: one 6-star champion beats five 5-stars. All XP, books and the best gear go into the farmer; everyone else waits.

  • Boots — speed main stat only, no exceptions.
  • Chest — ATK%, HP% or DEF%, or Accuracy if the champion lands debuffs.
  • Gloves — crit rate or crit damage for damage dealers.
  • Speed set — the baseline: two pieces give a speed bonus that outshines any other early set.

On Accuracy: a practical rule of thumb is roughly 10 Accuracy per dungeon stage, so stage 20 wants about 200. In week one, 60–100 is plenty for campaign and low stages.

Buy from the silver shop only for speed boots and obvious upgrades; everything else comes from campaign.

Days 4–5: masteries, a clan and the Clan Boss

Join a clan on day one: even weak Clan Boss hits give chests, and chests give shards and books. The rule is simple — hit the boss every day, even if your damage looks silly.

Masteries: finish the farmer's tree for campaign first, then build a second champion for Clan Boss. For the boss the key nodes are Warmaster or Giant Slayer — percentage-HP damage that works even on weak gear. Resetting masteries costs gems, so do not spread trees across champions you are not leveling.

Talent scrolls are farmed in the Minotaur dungeon. Early stages are easy, and a full scroll set on one champion is not a one-week job, but start now.

Days 5–6: dungeons and Arena

Once 12-3 on Brutal is stable, add dungeons — but only the right ones:

  • Dragon — speed and accuracy, the most useful early sets.
  • Minotaur — mastery scrolls.
  • Spider — accessories; go later, once you have a team with crowd control.

Arena: five fights a day, even losses count. Medals go into the Great Hall — Accuracy first, then HP or ATK as you prefer. Do not attack the top of the ladder; pick opponents with weak defense teams. Doom Tower and high dungeon stages are pointless in week one — they eat energy with nothing back.

Day 7: resource audit and priority table

By the end of the week you should have one 6-star farmer, a live clan and a clear picture of where your energy goes. Check yourself against the table.

3–4First 6-star12-3 on BrutalLeveling everything at once
5Farmer masteriesMinotaurMastery resets
6Gear and medalsDragon, ArenaHigh dungeon stages
7Resource auditWhatever is leftGems on shards
  • Gems — on energy and mastery scrolls, not shards, not shop gear.
  • Shards — save them for 2x legendary events.
  • Never feed epics or legendaries, even the ones that look weak.
  • Clear daily, weekly and monthly quests every day — they are free resources.

Typical first-week mistakes

  • Building five 5-stars instead of one 6-star.
  • Buying gear with gems and dumping gems into shards.
  • Skipping Clan Boss because the damage is low.
  • Running Spider and Doom Tower far too early.
  • Feeding epics just to push one champion.

Summary

The first week is not about a collection — it is about one strong champion, stable 12-3 Brutal farming and dailies actually done. Keep energy cycling, do not burn gems, hit Clan Boss and Arena every day, and by day seven you will have an account that is ready for week two.
