Level 60 in RAID: Shadow Legends is not the finish line — it is the point where the game stops holding your hand and starts demanding a plan. From here, progress depends less on hours played and more on where your energy, silver, gems and books go. Below is a practical midgame order of operations, no exotic tricks involved.
The starting point: what actually changes after 60
Up to level 60 almost everything is signposted: campaign, first dungeons, a starter champion, basic gear. After 60 there is no signposting — there is a list of goals, and you decide which one matters today. The mental shift is simple: stop levelling everything and start building three or four teams for specific content.
The second shift is resources. Energy, silver, gems, shards and books become the bottleneck. The classic midgame mistake is spreading thin: a little into ten champions and nothing finished. Narrow the front instead — one champion, one goal, one result.
Clan Boss is the foundation of your progress
If you are not in an active clan that hits Clan Boss daily, fix that first. Clan Boss gives daily chests: shards, books, gems and silver. It is the most stable income in the game and it costs nothing but daily keys.
- A realistic monthly goal is to move up one difficulty at a time (Normal → Hard → Brutal) instead of jumping into Nightmare and dying on turn five.
- The key stat for Clan Boss is Accuracy: without it, poisons, HP Burn and Attack Down simply do not land.
- Speed comes second — more turns means more damage and more debuffs.
- Survivability comes third: HP and Defence so the team lives to the end of the run.
Accuracy targets for Clan Boss
| Difficulty | Comfortable Accuracy (approx.) |
|---|---|
| Easy / Normal | 30–60 |
| Hard | 80–120 |
| Brutal | 130–170 |
| Nightmare | 200–230 |
| Ultra-Nightmare | 250 and above |
These numbers are approximate and team-dependent: judge by whether debuffs land consistently rather than by the table. Seeing Resist means add Accuracy, not damage.
Two or three champions to 60 with full masteries
The rule is simple: do not start a new champion until the current one is finished. One level 60 champion with full masteries and decent gear beats five champions at level 50 with empty mastery trees.
- A damage dealer — Kael, Athel, Elhain or Galek, whichever you picked at the start. He carries campaign and the first dungeons.
- A support with healing or shields — whether the team survives depends on them.
- A debuffer for Clan Boss — poisons, HP Burn, Attack Down and Defence Down.
Masteries are farmed in Minotaur at the highest stage you can clear, because higher stages give more scrolls per run. Buying a full mastery set with gems is worth it only for one or two key champions — otherwise the gems disappear faster than a new team comes together.
Dungeon priorities
- Minotaur — until your core champions have full masteries.
- Dragon — the main source of Speed and Lifesteal sets, the backbone of most teams.
- Spider — accessories and silver; silver pays for gear upgrades.
- Fire Knight and Ice Golem — once you need specific sets and already have a stable team.
- Everything else — around events and as suitable champions appear.
Do not try to clear everything at maximum level at once. A stable 100% clear on a mid stage is worth more than 30% on the top stage: you are farming a resource, not a challenge. Once a team clears a stage without losses, move up.
Arena, Great Hall and daily income
Arena is not only about rating. Medals go into the Great Hall, and its bonuses (Accuracy, Speed, Crit Damage, HP, Defence) apply across all content: Clan Boss, dungeons, Doom Tower. So spend your Arena tokens every day, even if you are not chasing the top ranks.
The daily minimum that keeps your pace: Clan Boss keys, Arena tokens, free energy from events and the shop, daily quests and clan quests. That is 15–20 minutes a day, but it is exactly what compounds into finished teams later.
Resources and the event calendar
- Gems — mostly on energy and on shard offers. Do not burn them on substat rerolls early in midgame.
- Silver — do not max out gear just in case. Decide first which set and which substats the team needs.
- Books — only into champions that will stay in your teams long term.
- Shards — save for fusions and major events instead of pulling on impulse every time you get one.
Events and fusions come in waves and almost always require energy and silver banked in advance. If a fusion is not useful for you, skip it and farm what the account actually needs. A skipped event costs nothing; a fusion failed at the last stage costs everything you invested.
Summary
Midgame is won by a system, not by one strong champion: an active clan and Clan Boss, three or four fully built champions, stable dungeons and daily Arena. Move one goal at a time and stop spreading resources — a month from now you will clear content that used to feel impossible.
