Accessories: Rings, Amulets and Banners — How to Choose

Accessories are the three slots — ring, amulet and banner — that many players fill with whatever dropped last and then never look at again. That is a mistake: a banner with Accuracy or Crit Damage often decides whether a debuff lands or a nuke one-shots. Here is the practical way to pick them.

How accessories differ from artifacts

  • There are only three. Ring, amulet and banner are separate slots that unlock as your account levels up. Before that you play with six artifact slots only.
  • They have no sets. There is no set bonus of any kind — an accessory only gives stats. So you never "build a set" of accessories, you pick them stat by stat.
  • The main stat is tied to the slot. A ring will never roll Accuracy and a banner will never roll HP%. That makes hunting easier: you know exactly what you are looking for.
  • Substats work like artifacts: at +4, +8, +12 and +16 you either unlock a new substat (if you have fewer than four) or improve an existing one.

The three slots and what they actually give

SlotMain statWho wants it first
RingFlat HP / DEF / ATKEarly and mid game — a bit of extra survivability or attack. Later it is the weakest slot.
AmuletHP%, DEF%, ATK%Tanks, supports, healers and nukers — anyone whose damage or survivability scales off percentages.
BannerAccuracy, Resistance, Crit Rate, Crit DamageDebuffers want Accuracy, arena tanks and cleansers want Resistance, nukers want Crit Damage.

A ring's flat main stat barely matters in the late game: a few hundred HP or attack changes very little. Treat rings as a disposable slot and put your attention on amulets and banners.

How to read an accessory: rank, rarity, level

The check order is simple: main stat → rank (stars) → rarity → substats.

  • Rank sets the size of the main stat. A six-star accessory at max level gives noticeably more than a four-star one, and the gap is real.
  • Rarity sets how many substats it starts with and their starting values: legendary begins with four, rare with two.
  • Level is raised with Silver in steps of four. Each step either adds a substat or rolls into one you already have.

Rule of thumb: do not push 4★ and below past +8–+12 unless it is a stopgap for your first weeks. Silver is better spent on 5–6★ pieces.

Who wears what

  • Debuffers and poison damage dealers (Kael is the classic example): an Accuracy banner. Without Accuracy your debuffs simply get resisted and all that damage is wasted. Accuracy comes from the banner first, then from artifacts.
  • Nukers: a Crit Damage banner once Crit Rate is covered by artifacts, plus an ATK% amulet. A Crit Rate banner is the fix when your artifacts fall short of the threshold.
  • Tanks, supports, healers: an HP% or DEF% amulet (whichever the heal scales off) and a Resistance banner — especially for arena, where eating a control debuff usually ends the fight.
  • Speed: you cannot get it from accessories, since none of them roll Speed as a main stat. Speed lives in artifacts; accessories fill in Accuracy, crit stats and survivability.

Where to get accessories

  • Spider's Den is the main source. The higher the stage, the higher the rank and rarity of the drop; top stages reliably give 5–6★.
  • The Market for Silver occasionally offers a decent banner. Check it, but do not buy everything you see.
  • Events, tournaments and content rewards fill the gaps when Spider is not cooperating.

Since accessories carry no set bonuses, there is no need to farm them "for a build" — you just want a stock of good banners and amulets for different roles.

What to keep and what to sell

  • Keep 5–6★ pieces with the right main stat: Accuracy, Resistance and Crit Damage banners, percentage amulets.
  • Rings are the most disposable slot: sell 5–6★ flat-stat rings with weak substats without regret, a couple for early champions is enough.
  • Do not hoard dozens of 4★ rare accessories "just in case" — Silver and inventory space are worth more.
  • Do not level an accessory with the wrong main stat hoping for substats: substats rarely save a bad main stat.

Summary

Accessories are the easiest gear to understand: no sets, a main stat you can predict from the slot, and only the role split left to handle. Keep a stock of Accuracy, Resistance and Crit Damage banners plus percentage amulets, and stop pouring Silver into low-rank pieces. Treat rings as consumables and give your attention to 5–6★ items with the right main stat.
