Faction Wars: Sacred Order — Best Heroes and Tips

The Sacred Order crypt in Faction Wars is one of those projects that tends to sit unfinished: the faction has plenty of premium legends, but without a real reviver, cleanser and turn-meter control the late stages become a coin flip. Here is a practical breakdown of who to use, which roles to cover and how to survive stage 21.

How the Sacred Order crypt works

The crypt has 21 stages, up to three stars per stage, and a boss at the end. Your roster is locked to Sacred Order champions, so generic off-faction supports are not an option. The main hurdle is sustain, not damage: waves will snowball if you lack healing, shields, cleanse or revive.

In the late stages, three things matter most: speed on key supports, accuracy on debuffers and turn-meter control. A pure damage team often loses to a slower but stable setup that actually reaches the boss with skills available.

Best legendary heroes

  • Cardiel — the complete support package: revive, cleanse and buffs. If you own him, the crypt becomes noticeably easier.
  • Venus — debuffs and HP burn that help on waves and against the boss. She needs accuracy or her kit does very little.
  • Lady Noelle — a sturdy support with buffs; a good fallback when you do not have Cardiel.
  • Highmother Maud — healing and safety nets; pairs well with revive and helps in long fights.
  • Vault Keeper Wixwell — a tanky support with shields; useful when waves pile on damage.
  • Polara Fireheart and Siegfrund the Nephilim — mythic heavyweights. Polara speeds up wave clear with debuffs, while Siegfrund brings serious boss damage but needs protection.

Also keep Martyr in mind: counterattack and defense help on waves and against the boss, but she is not a replacement for a reviver.

Epics and accessible options

Not everyone has a full legendary box, and that is fine. The core of this crypt is often built around epics:

  • Deacon Armstrong — speed lead, turn-meter boost and healing through damage. One of the faction’s most valuable epics.
  • Godseeker Aniri — revive and healing. Without her or a similar replacement, late stages demand very careful play.
  • Fenax — damage and block revive; helps finish problem enemies and keeps them down.
  • Inquisitor Shamael — control and single-target damage; good for switching off a dangerous enemy.

If you have Deacon Armstrong, start there: he gives the team tempo and stability. Epics will not always match legendary damage, but they cover roles that keep the run from falling apart.

Team building and roles

A working setup has five slots without holes: a speed lead or turn-meter controller, a reviver/healer, a cleanser or shielder, one or two damage dealers and a control/debuffer. A stable core looks like Deacon Armstrong (lead), Godseeker Aniri (revive), Cardiel (cleanse and buffs), Venus (debuffs) and Fenax (damage).

Without Cardiel, look at Lady Noelle, Highmother Maud or Martyr. Do not run two revivers with no damage: the team survives but never clears waves. The opposite — five damage dealers with no cleanse — usually falls over on the late stages.

Stage and boss tips

  • Play manually until the team is stable: auto often wastes a revive or cleanse at the wrong moment.
  • Save revive for a key support, not for the first damage dealer who drops.
  • Enter the boss fight with full HP and no bad debuffs; cleanse and shields matter more than one extra hit.
  • Watch accuracy: by the late stages, debuffers want roughly 200+ accuracy or their debuffs will be resisted.
  • Keep key supports around 170–200+ speed, otherwise waves can run you over before your first turn.
  • Against the boss, decrease attack, decrease defense and turn-meter control are more reliable than raw damage alone.

Builds and common mistakes

Build supports for speed and survival: Speed, Perception, Regen or Immortal sets. Damage dealers want Lifesteal or enough external support to stay alive. Debuffers need accuracy and support masteries, not just the attack tree.

Common mistakes: glass-cannon damage with no healing, ignoring cleanse, skipping accuracy on Venus or Shamael, and trying stage 21 on auto with underdeveloped masteries. First make sure the team can clear waves without losses, then take on the boss.

Summary

Sacred Order is a faction of balance: Cardiel and Venus raise the ceiling, Deacon Armstrong and Godseeker Aniri form a stable core, while Fenax and Inquisitor Shamael cover damage and control. Fill every role, build accuracy and speed, and fight the boss manually — the crypt will fall without unnecessary frustration. Once stage 21 is three-starred, farming becomes routine.
