Gerhard the Stone — guide
Guide: Gerhard the Stone
In short
Gerhard the Stone is an Epic Magic Attack champion of the Banner Lords. He is a pure single-target nuker: his second skill gives him +30% C.RATE and +30% C.DMG and then hits while ignoring 25–50% DEF, and his passive keeps him immune to most control. Build priority is low — the site author's verdict is vault (fusion).
Strengths
- The passive "Standard" grants immunity to Fear, True Fear, Freeze, Provoke, Sleep and Stun — control cannot switch him off.
- "Prowess" is a self-buff to C.RATE and C.DMG plus an attack that ignores 25% DEF, or 50% against a target under Increase DEF.
- His A1 "Resounding Blow" has a 40% chance to place a 1-turn Stun on targets above 75% turn meter instead of 15% — handy against fast enemies.
- Resistance Aura +50 in Doom Tower makes him a free leader for the tower.
- The author rates him as a strong solo shooter, which shows in Clan Boss and dungeons.
Weaknesses
- Low base stats: 1,387 ATK and 101 SPD — slow, and without setup his damage is thin.
- No area damage at all; everything goes into a single target.
- Rated 1.0 for Hydra and 2.0 for hard content — he is close to useless there.
- His control is single-target and chance-based, so you cannot rely on it.
Where to use
Clan Boss is his best spot (3.5) — that is where his DEF ignore and crit self-buff pay off most. Next come dungeons (3.0) and Banner Lords Faction Wars (3.0), where both the A1 stun and the aura matter. In Doom Tower (2.5) he is mostly a Resistance Aura leader rather than a damage dealer. Chimera (2.5) is a fallback, Arena (2.0) only as a single-target pick — without AoE he has little to do there. Skip Hydra (1.0) and hard content (2.0).
Stats and gear
The build list only names relics — no artifact sets are given, so pick gear by stats. Priority: ATK% and C.DMG first, then SPD. Rough targets: ATK 2,500+, C.RATE around 70% (his A2 tops it up to 100%), C.DMG 200%+, SPD 170+. ACC 200+ only if you actually plan to land the A1 stun. From the relic list take Malefic Talon and Gorecrescent.
Masteries and blessings
Go down the Offense tree for damage: Pierce Defenses, Foekiller, Piercing Strike, Bloodthirsty Prowess. The author's build lists no blessings, so there is no set recipe here — if you do play him, take something offensive.
Tombs
If you book him at all, start with the A2 "Prowess": its level 6 gives −1 cooldown plus extra damage, and it is his only real damage skill. The A1 stun chance (+5% at levels 3 and 5) is worth it only for a specific job like a stun-lock in Faction Wars. With a vault/fusion verdict, though, books should not go into him at all.
Verdict
The site author sends him straight to the vault — he is fusion material. As a nuker he is one of many, and his low ATK and SPD keep him from standing out.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.

RES Aura in Doom Tower by 50
Gerhard the Stone is an Epic Magic affinity hero from the "Telerians" alliance of the "Banner Lords" faction. A skilled knight in heavy armor with a two-handed sword. As a professional soldier, he is ready to enter battle and stun the opponent with a powerful attack from his first skill, strengthen his attacks and gain an advantage over a stronger enemy with his second. His passive skill grants immunity to many controlling debuffs in the game. He will be useful as a leader in the Doom Tower thanks to his Resistance aura of 50.
