Guide: Bone Knight

In short

Bone Knight is a Rare Attack champion from the Undead Hordes with Spirit affinity, and you bring him for exactly two things: Heal Reduction 100% and a Crit Rate buff for the whole team. As a damage dealer he is useless — 1,090 ATK at 6★ is support-level, not attacker-level. Build him only for a narrow Clan Boss / Faction Wars slot: speed, accuracy and survivability, no damage dreams.

Strengths

  • Heal Reduction 100% for 2 turns on his second skill (80% chance, 100% when booked) — it shuts down boss healing and sustain-heavy teams, and on Clan Boss combined with team Lifesteal it genuinely keeps runs alive.
  • His third skill is an AoE hit plus a +15% Crit Rate buff on all allies for 2 turns, which helps damage dealers who are short on Crit Rate from gear.
  • The A1 hits twice, each hit with a 15% chance to place Weaken 15% for 2 turns — free extra damage for the team when it lands.
  • Books scale well: A2 cooldown down to 2 turns, A3 down to 3, so the debuff and the buff stay nearly always in rotation.

Weaknesses

  • Terrible 6★ stats for an attacker: 1,090 ATK, 980 DEF, 93 SPD — he hits soft and moves late.
  • Damage comes from single-target hits only, no real AoE damage, and the 15% proc on A1 is unreliable.
  • No control, no survivability tools, nothing for Hydra or Doom Tower.
  • Spirit affinity: against Force content and in Arena he is a liability and simply never gets a turn.

Where to use

By ratings his best home is the Clan Boss (4/5), where the Heal Reduction and Crit Rate buff actually do something. Far behind come Dungeons (2/5), Hard mode (2/5) and Faction Wars (2/5) — fine as a wave-clear body for a new account. Arena (1/5), Doom Tower (1/5) and Chimera (1.5/5) are not worth it, and Hydra (0.5/5) is a hard no.

Stats and gear

Priority: ACC → SPD → survivability, ATK last. Rough targets: ACC 180–220 so debuffs land on high-level Clan Boss, SPD 170–200, plus HP/DEF to survive the full run. Don't chase Crit Rate — the +15% buff goes to allies, not to him.

  • Perception — the default pick, speed and accuracy in one set.
  • Lifesteal — for Clan Boss, so he stays up without a dedicated healer.
  • Offense / Critical Rate / Crit Damage — only if you insist on damage, and the investment never pays back.

Masteries and blessings

Offense tree for damage and penetration: Pierce Defenses. Support/accuracy side: Invigorated and Targetfinder so his debuffs land and he keeps himself topped up. Among blessings only Phantom touch makes sense — extra damage procs per hit, though the payoff is tiny on such a low base ATK. Relics: Malefic Talon, Orb of Transfixion.

Tombs

Book the second skill first: it pushes the debuff chance to 100% and cuts the cooldown to 2 turns, which is the entire reason to own him. Next, the third skill for the -1 cooldown on the team buff. Leave the A1 alone — tomes won't rescue a 15% proc.

Verdict

Fodder. Keep him only for Heal Reduction on the Clan Boss or to fill a Faction Wars slot, and only if you have nothing better.
