Lanakis the Chosen — guide

In short

Lanakis the Chosen is a Legendary Magic-affinity Support from the Dark Elves, and her value is buffs and tempo, not damage. Legendary Banner hands the whole team +30% C.RATE and +50% ATK, while Bound by Fate extends buffs, fills turn meters and drags three allies into basic attacks. Build her fast and tanky first.

Strengths

• Legendary Banner is a top-tier buff skill: +30% C.RATE and +50% ATK to the team for 2 turns, plus a chance to take an extra turn.
• Bound by Fate extends every ally buff by 1 turn and fills the team's turn meters by 30% — a perfect follow-up to Banner.
• The same skill calls three random allies to hit with their basic skills, the classic "blender" payoff: extra damage and extra A1 effects.
• Her A1 places a 15% Regeneration on herself on a crit — free self-sustain.
• 4.5 rating in Faction Wars, where she genuinely carries.

Weaknesses

• Only 980 DEF at 108 SPD — without speed and HP gear she dies before her first turn.
• No debuffs and no control, so ACC is wasted on her; she never touches the enemy.
• In Dungeons, Hydra and Hard mode (3.0) she loses to dedicated supports — bosses want debuffs and damage reduction, not ATK buffs.
• Unbooked, Legendary Banner is unreliable (25% extra-turn chance) and sits on a long cooldown.

Where to use

Arena is home: Classic, Tag Team and Live Arena (4.0), where the C.RATE and ATK buffs decide the trade. Clan Boss (4.0) also benefits from her buffs and buff extension. Faction Wars is her best spot at 4.5. Hydra (3.0), Chimera (3.5), Dungeons and Hard (3.0) and Doom Tower (3.5) are average — bring her only into a specific combo.

Stats and gear

Priority: SPD (250+ for Arena so Banner lands before the enemy nukes), then HP% and DEF%, and C.RATE up to 100% so her A1 always triggers Regeneration. Skip ACC entirely — she has no debuffs. Sets: Speed, Attack and Lifesteal; in practice Speed plus Perception or Immortal works best.

Masteries and blessings

Support and Defense trees (Defense can be swapped for Offense to support her crit-based A1). Key picks from the list: Blessed Heal, Invigorated, Survival Speed, Unflinching, Heal 'N' Go. Blessings: Phantom Touch, Brimstone, Intimidating Presence. Relics: Journal of Necrotos, Golden Elixir, Perched Shadow.

Tomes

Book Legendary Banner first: tomes raise the buff chance (up to a 50% extra-turn chance at max) and cut its cooldown at level 6 — that is exactly what she lacks. Then put books into Bound by Fate for the -1 cooldown.

Verdict

Build her: Lanakis is a strong buffer and blender enabler for Arena and Clan Boss, as long as you give her real speed and survivability.
