Fatalis Blademaster — guide
Guide: Fatalis Blademaster
In short
Fatalis Blademaster is a Legendary Dark Elves champion with the HP role: all of his damage scales off HP instead of Attack, so he is both tanky and hits hard. He shines in Arena (Classic, Tag Team, Live) and Faction Wars, while against PvE bosses he is close to useless. Build priority: HP, C.RATE up to 100%, then C.DMG.
Strengths
- Damage scales from HP (0.22 / 0.3 / 0.26 / 0.36 of max HP), so one stat gives you both survivability and damage.
- Every attack ignores part of the enemy DEF, and Dangerous Advance ignores 50%; on a critical hit his A1, A2 and A3 additionally ignore 15% DEF.
- Wide Strike ignores Strengthen, Stone Skin, Increase DEF and Shield on the target — a direct answer to shield and buff teams.
- Passive: at the end of his turn he places a Shield equal to 25% of his max HP for 2 turns, and hits on him cannot be critical while that shield is up.
- Arena HP aura +35% for the whole team, and a critical Dangerous Advance fills his own Turn Meter by 50%.
Weaknesses
- Dangerous Advance does not apply in boss fights — that is why he falls flat in Clan Boss and dungeons.
- That skill's damage cannot be increased by his masteries or ally passives, so buff synergy is limited.
- Debuffs are weak and single-target: Decrease ATK and Decrease DEF of 5–10% each, capped at 30%, and no control at all.
- Base SPD of 104 is slow — without speed gear he moves late.
Where to use
Best areas are Classic Arena, Tag Team Arena and Live Arena (4/5), plus Faction Wars (4/5), where his shield and defence-ignoring hits matter most. In Hydra and Chimera (3/5) he works as a secondary damage dealer with built-in survivability. In Clan Boss, dungeons, Doom Tower and harder content (2/5) there is little reason to bring him: the passive nuke does not trigger on bosses and HP-scaled damage is modest against thick targets.
Stats and gear
Priority: HP% → C.RATE 100% → C.DMG 200%+ → SPD 180–220. ACC matters only if you want the Decrease ATK/DEF to land reliably — around 150–200 is enough. Aim for roughly 60–80k HP in an Arena build. Boots: SPD for Arena, HP% for Faction Wars and slow teams. Gauntlets with C.DMG, chest with HP%. Sets: Savage (main pick, defence ignoring), Immortal (HP plus healing), Lethal (crit damage). Good relics: Malefic Talon, Wand of Submission, Volcardiac Heart.
Masteries and blessings
PvE path: Pierce Defenses in Offense plus defensive picks — Damage Mitigation, Bolstered Defense, Invigorated, Gathering Momentum. PvP path is a pure nuker setup: Pierce Defenses and Buff Depletion to strip enemy buffs. Blessing: Soul Reap.
Tombs
Book Empowered Strike first: it gives −1 cooldown and +30% damage on an all-enemy hit, so both his AoE damage and the Decrease DEF come out more often. Second, Wide Strike (−1 cooldown, +30% damage, reliable buff ignoring). Leave the A1 for last — it only adds damage.
Verdict
A narrow but sharp tool: an Arena HP nuker with defence ignoring and crit immunity under his own shield. Nearly mandatory for Faction Wars, but keep him out of serious PvE.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
