Doomscreech — guide
Guide: Doomscreech
In short
Doomscreech is a Rare HP-type support from the Undead Hordes with Void affinity, so he never lands weak hits. He shines in Clan Boss and Arena, where Fierce Cry pushes the team's Turn Meters and adds Increase DEF, while his Shield keeps him alive. Build HP first, then Speed — the site's verdict is “worth building”.
Strengths
- Fierce Cry does two jobs at once: fills all allies' Turn Meters by 30% and applies Increase DEF 60% for 2 turns.
- Cover gives him a Shield equal to 30% of his MAX HP for 2 turns at the start of every turn — he stays up while supporting.
- Cover is also an AoE attack that scales off HP: the tankier he is, the harder it hits.
- Piercing Claws hits twice with a 25% chance to place Decrease ACC 50% for 2 turns — useful in Arena and on bosses.
- Void affinity plus a +21% HP aura for Faction Crypts makes him a stable pick in any content.
Weaknesses
- 95 base Speed is slow — without Speed gear he barely cycles.
- Decrease ACC is only a 25% chance, so it is not a reliable debuff.
- His HP-based damage is a bonus, not a role: he is not a damage dealer.
- Hard mode is his weak spot (2/5), and Hydra, Chimera and Doom Tower are only middling (2.5/5).
Where to use
Best in Clan Boss (4/5) and Arena (4/5), where turn-meter fill plus Increase DEF carry the team. He also earns his slot in Faction Wars (3.5/5) thanks to the aura. Dungeons are a solid average (3/5). In Hydra, Chimera and Doom Tower he works but does not stand out (2.5/5), and in Hard mode take him only if you have nothing better.
Stats and gear
Priority: HP (it feeds both the Shield and Cover's damage) → Speed (aim for roughly 180–220 so Fierce Cry keeps cycling) → Accuracy (~150–200 if you want the Decrease ACC to land) → Resistance in Arena. C.RATE and C.DMG are not a priority. The build list does not name sets, but the skills make it clear HP and Speed artifacts suit him — go Speed + HP sets and add Accuracy if you are short on ACC.
Masteries and blessings
From the build list, take Invigorated. Put the rest into the Defense tree for survivability (so the Shield and HP actually matter) and the Support tree for Accuracy and buff duration. The Offense tree is not needed. The listed relic is the Journal of Necrotos. No blessing is listed in the build, and it is not a priority on him — take a defensive one if you have it.
Tombs
Book Fierce Cry first: its level 2 and level 3 upgrades each cut 1 turn of cooldown, which keeps the DEF buff and the Turn Meter fill up almost permanently. Then book Cover (level 5 cuts 1 turn of cooldown, so the Shield comes more often). Leave Piercing Claws for last.
Verdict
A dependable Rare support for early and mid game — Clan Boss, Arena and Faction Wars. Worth the books, just don't expect damage from him.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
