Nethril — guide
Guide: Nethril
In short
Nethril is a Legendary Attack champion of the Spirit affinity from the Undead Hordes. He shines in Clan Boss and against waves: poison from his A1, an AoE Stun with a fallback Decrease SPD, and a 75% Turn Meter reduction. Build him for Accuracy and Speed, and put your Tomes into the A2 first.
Strengths
- Top-tier poisoner for Clan Boss: A1 hits 3 times, each hit with a 30% chance to place a 5% Poison for 2 turns.
- A2 "Pale Terror" hits all enemies with a 50% chance to Stun for 1 turn; if the Stun doesn't land, it places a 30% Decrease SPD for 2 turns instead. Full-team control.
- A3 "Avalanche" is an AoE that cuts the enemy Turn Meter by 75% — it wrecks turn order in dungeons and in Arena.
- Solid multipliers (4.8× and 3.8× of ATK) — he actually deals damage on waves instead of only spreading debuffs.
- Versatile: Clan Boss 5/5, Arena, dungeons and Faction Wars all at 4/5.
Weaknesses
- Base Speed of 94 — without Speed gear he acts last and never gets his control off in time.
- 991 Defence and a modest HP pool: high-level dungeons kill him fast, especially without Lifesteal.
- Debuff chances aren't 100%: 30% for Poison and 50% for Stun means inconsistent results before books.
- Weak in Hydra and Chimera (3.0 and 2.5) — those fights want a different debuff kit.
Where to use
First and foremost Clan Boss, where he is one of the best poisoners in the game. Then Classic and Tag Team Arena (Stun plus Turn Meter control), dungeons, and Undead Hordes Faction Wars. In Doom Tower he sits at 3.5/5 — usable, but not a key pick. Leave Hydra, Chimera and Hard mode content to other champions.
Stats and gear
Priority: Accuracy (200–250 for Clan Boss and top dungeons, or his debuffs simply won't land) → Speed (170–200+, so A2 and A3 fire before the enemy moves) → C. RATE up to 100% → C. DMG and ATK. Don't bother with Resistance — it isn't his job.
- Sets: Accuracy, Speed, Lifesteal (for Clan Boss survivability), Divine Speed, Perception.
- Relics: Molten Deathbell, Irethi Coronet, Arachnelixir.
Masteries and blessings
Go down the Offense tree for damage and accuracy, then patch up survivability. Key masteries from the build: In For The Kill, Pierce Defenses, Pouncing Strike, Boss Slayer. Blessing: Brimstone — extra boss damage on top of his poisons.
Tombs
Book the A2 first: it gains +25% debuff chance (50% → 75%) and −1 cooldown, the biggest reliability jump he gets. Second, the A3: −1 cooldown and +20% damage. Book the A1 last, and only if you're using him purely as a Clan Boss poisoner (Poison chance 30% → 50%).
Verdict
The site author's call is vault (fusion) — as a standalone champion he isn't mandatory. Still, if you need a Clan Boss poisoner, he delivers his 5/5 rating honestly.

The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
