Razelvarg — guide
Guide: Razelvarg
In short
Razelvarg is a legendary Attack champion from the Skinwalkers faction who deals damage based on ATK and SPD, boosts his team, and places Leech. He excels in Clan Boss and Hydra, where his passive can stack up to +100 SPD. Build priority: SPD, ACC, Crit, ATK.
Strengths
- Massive SPD ramp via passive (up to +100) and a 20% SPD aura for all allies.
- AoE attack with Leech (up to 95% chance when booked) and a 10% MAX HP heal per Leech placed.
- Team-wide 30% Increase SPD and 50% Increase ACC buffs for 2 turns, aiding both damage and debuff landing.
- High damage scaling with ATK and SPD, allowing a fast damage dealer build.
- Top ratings in Clan Boss (5.0), Hydra (5.0), and Chimera (4.5).
Weaknesses
- Low base SPD (110), requiring careful gearing for initial speed.
- Mediocre performance in dungeons (3.0) and Doom Tower (2.5) due to boss mechanics.
- Needs books to reduce cooldowns and maximize Leech chance.
- Vulnerable to crowd control and buff removal, as his power relies on SPD stacking.
Where to use
Primarily Clan Boss and Hydra (5.0), where he deals massive damage, provides Leech, and speeds up the team. Chimera (4.5) and Faction Wars (4.5) are also excellent. In Arena (3.5) he can work as a fast nuker with SPD buff, but not top-tier. Dungeons (3.0), including Hard (3.0), and Doom Tower (2.5) see lower effectiveness, though he can be used in Fire Knight's Castle.
Stats and gear
Stat priority: SPD (target 250+ for CB/Hydra, can be slightly lower due to passive), ACC (225+ for CB, 350+ for Hydra), C.RATE (100%), C.DMG, ATK. DEF and HP as secondary. Sets: Speed, Relentless, Perception, Zeal, Righteous. Mix to reach stat thresholds. Relentless is popular for CB to get extra turns.
Masteries and blessings
For PvE (CB, Hydra), go Offense and Support trees with key masteries Pierce Defenses and Boss Slayer. For Arena, Offense and Defense with damage focus. Blessings: early game Brimstone for boss damage, late game Soul Reap for execute. Relics: Malefic Talon, Irethi Coronet, The Cat's Gaze.
Tomes
Prioritize A2 (Night of the Hare) to max Leech chance (95%) and reduce cooldown to 3 turns. Then A3 (Desperate Chase) for 3-turn cooldown. A1 can be left for last or skipped.
Verdict
Razelvarg is one of the best champions for Clan Boss and Hydra, single-handedly covering Leech and SPD boosting. If you need a versatile speed-based damage dealer for endgame content, he's a must-build.
