Bellower — guide
Guide: Bellower
In short
Bellower is a Rare Dark champion from Ogryn Tribes listed as Support, yet all of his damage scales from Attack: three skills hit the whole enemy team and stack debuffs. He shines as a campaign farmer and as a mass debuffer in dungeons (Ice Golem's Peak above all), while in Clan Boss and Doom Tower he is average. Build priority: damage for farming first, then Speed and Accuracy for the debuffs.
Strengths
- All three skills are AoE across the enemy team — great wave clear for a young account.
- His A3 applies both -25% ATK and -30% DEF for 2 turns at a 75% chance, and gains a cooldown reduction at max level.
- A2 brings a 15% SPD debuff for 2 turns — useful in dungeons and on arena offense.
- Aura: +15% ally Speed in Faction Crypts, which makes Faction Wars noticeably easier.
- Rare rarity means cheap books and easy duplicates, so maxing him is realistic early.
Weaknesses
- Low base stats: 914 DEF and 16 515 HP — he folds fast on high floors.
- Debuff chances are not 100%: 20% for Block Active Skills and 50% for the SPD debuff whiff without Accuracy.
- No healing, shields or ally buffs — his "support" is purely debuff-based.
- Weak in Clan Boss and Doom Tower (2.5/5): single-target damage matters more there.
Where to use
Best areas are campaign farming (12-3, 12-6) and Ice Golem's Peak, where his AoE clear plus ATK/DEF debuffs pay off on waves and the boss. In arena (3/5) he fits an offense team as a SPD/ATK debuffer. In Hydra, Chimera and regular dungeons (3/5) he is mostly there for the ATK down and cleanup. In Faction Crypts (3/5) his aura is the main selling point. In Clan Boss and Doom Tower (2.5/5) use him only if you have nobody else for the debuffs.
Stats and gear
- Speed: 170–200 so the debuffs stay up; pure campaign farming needs less.
- Accuracy: 150–200 for dungeons, 250+ for high floors and Hydra.
- If he is your farmer, go ATK% and C.DMG with roughly 100% C.RATE.
- One or two HP% or DEF% slots, otherwise 914 DEF will not save him.
- Sets: Attack set as the main pick, plus Speed or Accuracy/Perception for the debuff role; Lifesteal for solo farming.
Masteries and blessings
Offense tree: Pierce Defenses, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum, Boss Slayer — a damage-leaning setup, which makes sense for a farmer. If you run him as a debuffer, pick up Accuracy and debuff-chance masteries in the second tree. For relics, use Irethi Coronet and Perched Shadow.
Tombs
Book the A3 first: +25% chance on both debuffs and -1 cooldown is the biggest jump. Then the A2 for its cooldown reduction, and the A1 last.
Verdict
Level him: a cheap Rare farmer and mass debuffer who carries campaign and Ice Golem, but do not expect Clan Boss miracles.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
