Guide: Thenasil

In short

Thenasil is an epic support healer from High Elves with a powerful max HP-based team heal and a DEF buff. He excels in early/mid-game Clan Boss and dungeons. Build priority is HP and Speed to maximize healing and cycle turns.

Strengths

  • Massive team heal – 25% (+30% after books) of his Max HP.
  • AOE 60% Increase DEF buff for 2 turns, greatly boosting survivability.
  • AOE buff duration reduction (A3) with no accuracy requirement.
  • Sleep chance on A1 (up to 50% when booked).
  • Aura provides +70 RES in dungeons for the whole team.

Weaknesses

  • Low base Speed (105), hard to tune for fast rotations.
  • Healing scales solely on HP – needs strong HP gear; otherwise output is mediocre.
  • No revive or debuff cleanse.
  • Outclassed in high-level content (Hydra, Hard dungeons) by more utility-focused healers.

Where to use

Best in Clan Boss (3.5/5) and classic dungeons (3.0/5), where his heal and DEF buff secure runs. Decent in Arena (3.0/5) for defensive teams. Can cover healer role in Faction Wars (2.5/5) and Doom Tower (2.5/5) if alternatives are lacking. Weak in Hydra, Chimera, and Hard mode.

Stats and gear

Stat priority: Speed (200+), HP% (aim for 60-70k total HP), DEF% (for survival). If you rely on sleep from A1, add Accuracy (150+ for PvP, 200+ for PvE). Ignore Crit Rate/Damage.

Recommended sets:

  • Speed – to cycle turns;
  • Immortal – passive healing and HP%;
  • Life – triple set for 30% HP, maximizing heals;
  • Regeneration – if extra turn-by-turn healing is needed;
  • Shield – adds a protective buffer at the start.

Masteries and blessings

Go deep in the Support tree: Lay on Hands and Merciful Aid are must-have to boost healing. Second tree can be Defense for durability. For Blessings, Miracle Heal is the prime choice to amplify heals; alternatively, Harvest Despair for extra CC with sleep.

Tomes

Book A2 (Oak Skin) first – cooldown reduction and extra healing make a huge diffeence. Then A3 (Wither) for cooldown. A1 can wait unless you rely on the sleep control.

Verdict

Thenasil is one of the best epic healers for early-to-mid game progression. His HP-scaling heal and protective buff mark him as a top choice when your team lacks survivability. Worth building and fully booking.
