Basher — guide
Guide: Basher
In short
Basher is an Epic Attack champion from the Skinwalkers, Dark affinity. His home is PvP: he extends enemy cooldowns, drops Block Buffs and gives the whole team +25% HP with his passive. Build him for Accuracy and Speed first, damage comes last.
Strengths
- Stinging Strike hits all enemies and extends the cooldown of all their skills by 2 turns — in Arena that breaks rotations and kills combos.
- Tremor lands 4 hits on random targets with a 75% chance to place Block Buffs for 2 turns: it strips shields and buffs and hurts healers and shielders.
- The passive (+25% HP to all allies in all battles) is a quiet but real boost in Arena and in the Crypt.
- A1 applies 25% Weaken for 2 turns at a 75% chance — a decent setup for your damage dealers.
- Skinwalkers Crypt — 4/5, one of the best picks for the faction.
Weaknesses
- Damage: only 1,498 base ATK, so even in attack gear he is not a damage dealer — control is the whole point.
- Clan Boss, dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower are all 2/5: bosses barely care about cooldown extension and Block Buffs.
- 95 Speed — slow, without Speed gear he loses the turn race.
- Every debuff sits at 75% — without books and upgrades they fail half the time.
Where to use
Best spot is Arena — both Classic and Tag Team (4/5), where his A2 and A3 decide fights. Second home is the Skinwalkers Crypt (4/5). He is passable in Chimera (3/5) and situational in Hydra (2.5). In Clan Boss, dungeons, Hard and Doom Tower (2/5 each) he is not worth it: cooldown control does not pay off there.
Stats and gear
Priority: Accuracy → Speed → survivability. Rough targets: 200–220+ SPD, 250+ ACC for Arena, then HP%/DEF% (13,545 base HP gives room), crit only with leftovers.
Sets from the list: Accuracy, Speed, Immunity, Cruel, Perception. In Arena Speed + Accuracy is the easy pick; go Immunity if you fear control. Relics: Orb of Transfixion, Wand of Submission.
Masteries and blessings
Trees: Offense + Support, leaning into control and Accuracy. Key picks from the list: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Gathering Momentum. On top of that, take anything that raises debuff placement chance. No blessing is listed for him — do not invest, use a survivability one if you happen to have it.
Tombs
Book A2 first: its level 4 upgrade cuts 1 turn of cooldown, and that skill is why he is an Arena pick. Then A3 (debuff chance and -1 cooldown at level 5), A1 last. The author is clear on this one: books are worth pouring in.
Verdict
House verdict: "vault (fusion)" — as an all-rounder he is nothing special. But if you play PvP and the Crypt, he is a solid Epic controller, and books sit well on him.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
