Sorceress — guide
Guide: Sorceress
In short
Sorceress is a Rare Attack champion of the Undead Hordes with Force affinity. Her job is debuffs: a 60% Decrease DEF from her third skill and a 15% Decrease SPD from her default hit — so early Arena and Faction Wars stars. Build priority is low: the site verdict is "to the vault (fusion)" and the notes simply say food.
Strengths
- Grasping Ivy hits random enemies three times and each hit has a 30% chance to place a 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns — it can tag several targets at once.
- Ice Shot has a 30% chance to apply 15% Decrease SPD for 2 turns, handy against slow Arena teams.
- Magic Arrows hits twice with a 20% chance of an extra hit, so up to three hits on one target.
- As a Rare she is cheap to build and fills Faction Wars star slots easily.
Weaknesses
- Low base stats: 1,321 ATK and 101 SPD — neither damage nor turn order.
- No AoE: her third skill spreads hits randomly, so you cannot focus damage.
- Every debuff needs ACC and she has none in her base kit — without ACC gear the debuffs simply do not land.
- No buffs, no heal, no control: rated 1.0 in Hydra, Hard mode and Doom Tower, 2.0 in dungeons and Chimera.
Where to use
Arena is her best spot (2.5), in an attacking team against comps without fast cleanse — Decrease DEF plus your nukers finish the job. Second tier: Clan Boss (2.0), Chimera (2.0), dungeons (2.0) and Faction Wars (2.0), where she is only a 60% Decrease DEF source for bosses and a body for stars. Skip her in Hydra, Hard mode and Doom Tower (1.0).
Stats and gear
Priority: ATK, then C.RATE, C.DMG, ACC and SPD.
- ATK as high as possible, ATK% gloves.
- C.RATE toward 100% (70% minimum), C.DMG from 100%.
- ACC 150–200, otherwise the debuffs get resisted (Arena / dungeons).
- SPD 170–190 so she moves before your damage dealers.
Sets: Attack, Cruel, Crit Rate, plus Perception or Speed for ACC and turn order. From the build list: the Pierce Defenses mastery and the Malefic Talon relic.
Masteries and blessings
Attack tree down to Pierce Defenses (her only real source of damage), then Support for Charged Focus (ACC) and Sniper (debuff chance). Do not spend blessings on her — she is not worth sanctuary farming.
Tombs
No tomes — she is food. If you must use her for Faction Wars: book Grasping Ivy first (rank 4 cuts a turn of cooldown, so Decrease DEF comes up more often), then Magic Arrows (rank 6 also cuts cooldown).
Verdict
A starter debuffer with 60% Decrease DEF and Decrease SPD on a Rare frame, but low bases and no AoE cap her at early Arena and Faction Wars. Keep her for fusion or use her as food.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
