Doom Tower update (two new bosses, room rebalance, new Artifact sets), new heroes (more about them in a few days) and some improvements to the Clan Search and Join system.
Doom Tower Update
Doom Tower is one of the largest and most diverse modes, but what you've seen in the game so far is only the beginning! We want to add two new cycles, each with its own specifics. In version 4.10 you will see the first of them, which will include two new bosses, two new Artifact sets available in the Forge, as well as a rebalance of floors and some new conditions for secret rooms. Some previous bosses will also return, but with different Elements, so get ready to adapt your tactics!
Of course, the old, already familiar Doom Tower isn't going anywhere. We'll simply move from one cycle to the next and, so you don't get bored, we'll try to vary the conditions and enemies. Speaking of enemies - you can see two new bosses below:
Celestial Griffin Gryphon.
Battles against Griffon will require careful micromanagement, with precisely timed application of buffs and debuffs. You will also need to carefully monitor the gauge of Griffon's “Sky Bonds” ability, which he accumulates during the battle. Whether to bet on your team's durability or speed — that's for you to choose!
As for the rewards, defeating Gryphon will earn you Gryphon Feathers, which can be used to craft magnificent gear from the Guardian Set in the Forge.
Set (4): The wearer absorbs 10% of the damage dealt to allies and heals the wearer for 10% of their MAX HP each turn.
It is important to note that the effects of Guardian Artifacts do not apply to Poison or HP Burn effects, nor to any ally skills that deal damage to this same Champion.
Ancient Dragon Iragoth.
Looking at Iragoth's abilities, you can notice that he draws his power from your team's active skills. In addition, the dragon is constantly accompanied by three of his servants, and if you don't manage to kill them in time, Iragoth will be able to use his [Soul Banish] or [Soul Absorption] abilities, and then expect trouble.
However, Iragoth also has his own weaknesses. Keep in mind that Decrease Cooldown works against him. And if you manage to time it right and kill the Ancient Priest at the right moment, all your Champions' skills will be restored immediately.
If you defeat Iragoth himself, the Dragon Bones obtained from him can be used to create the Bloodthirst Set. Set (4): C.RATE +12%. Heals its wearer by 30% of the damage dealt.
Like the Lifesteal Set, the effect of the Bloodthirst Set does not apply to Poison and HP Burn effects. However, the effect of this Set stacks with Skills that work like Lifesteal.
Clan Upgrades
Improvements in version 4.10 concerning Clan search, joining a Clan, and aimed at improving overall gameplay convenience:
▪Filters (language, activity, power, etc.) will be available in the Clan search and ranking tab.
▪The Clan Leader will now be able to set a player Power threshold as a condition for joining their Clan.
▪The list of Suggested Clans, formed based on the player's Power, will be offered to the player to join. For a Clan to appear in the list, its Leader must have been online at least 1 time in the last 7 days.
▪Players who are not in a Clan will be able to use "Quick Join", which will allow them to easily join the first Clan from the Suggested Clans list.
▪The Clan Leader can activate Clan Advancement for 48 hours (once every 7 days).
▪A player will be able to submit an application to join a Clan even if they are currently a member of another Clan.
▪The "Members" tab will display the last login time of each player in the Clan.
▪The 'Invite to Clan' feature is now available in global chat.
▪The "Invite to Clan" feature will now be available in the player info tab.
Other
▪The Doom Tower completion rating and the list of best teams will now depend on the number of Turns the player needed to complete the floor, instead of the amount of time, as it was until now (this update will take effect some time after the patch is released).
▪The battle results tab will now display not only the battle duration in time but also the number of turns taken to complete the stage.
▪The MAX HP of Black Widow Ageret will be reduced in the penultimate battle on Hard difficulty (floor 60 in the current cycle, 70 in the next one; on other floors Ageret's HP will remain the same). These changes will take effect after the launch of the second Doom Tower "cycle".
