On 6 July 2023, RAID: Shadow Legends received update 7.30. It introduced Accessory Ascension, a new dungeon called Phantom Shogun's Grove, a new crypt in Faction Wars, a champion filter, and rebalances for Stone Skin and Polymorph.
What's new
- Accessory Ascension: rings, amulets and banners can now be upgraded instead of only being swapped for higher-rarity ones.
- A new dungeon — Phantom Shogun's Grove.
- A new crypt in Faction Wars for the Sylvan Watchers faction.
- A champion filter to find the right champion in your collection faster.
- Rebalances for Stone Skin and Polymorph.
What it means for players
Accessory Ascension is a real step forward for anyone with a solid roster already in place: accessories stop being the "secondary" part of a build, and farming them is now worth the same effort as farming sets. Beginners shouldn't rush it — get your basic sets and your team sorted first — while clan players and those who spend a lot of time in PvP get extra stats and more room to fine-tune their builds.
Phantom Shogun's Grove is one more reason to spend time in dungeons, and the new crypt adds to the to-do list of everyone working through Faction Wars. The Stone Skin and Polymorph rebalance mainly concerns the PvP crowd: familiar combos may need reworking, but defensive and control strategies get a fresh set of options. The champion filter looks like a small thing next to all that — yet it's exactly the kind of small thing that saves time when you're putting a team together.
