Update 10.00: Relics system and Chimera, the new clan boss

On December 5, 2024, RAID: Shadow Legends rolled out update 10.00 — a major patch that introduced the Relics system, a new clan boss named Chimera, fresh champions, and balance changes for Gamuran and Opardin.

What's new

  • Relics system — a new layer of champion progression that sits alongside the gear you already use.
  • Chimera — a new clan boss that transforms during the fight.
  • New champions — fresh faces for your roster.
  • Rebalances — both Gamuran and Opardin received changes.

What it means for players

Relics give another reason to revisit your builds. If your key champions already carry solid sets, the new system is extra room to experiment and to squeeze more out of the characters you use most. Beginners should treat it as a long-term goal rather than a first-week task — there is no need to chase everything at once. For PvP players it is one more thing to weigh up when you compare your team with an opponent's.

Chimera is clan content. Because the boss changes form during the encounter, clans need compositions that can handle more than one phase instead of a single reliable setup. The Gamuran and Opardin tweaks matter most to players who already invested in them or plan to use them in Faction Wars and on the arena. Newcomers, meanwhile, are unlikely to make Chimera their first target — simpler modes come first.
