Update 5.30: Champion Skins and a Reworked Clan Shop

On 23 March 2022, RAID: Shadow Legends received Update 5.30, and it was a packed patch: Champion Skins arrived in the game, the Clan Shop was overhauled from the ground up, and auto-battle learned to follow per-round Skill Instructions.

What's new

  • Champion Skins — a new cosmetic system for how your champions look.
  • Clan Shop overhaul, with a reworked assortment and structure.
  • Per-round Skill Instructions for auto battle: pick which skill to use in each round.
  • Super Raids and Multi-Battle are now available in Faction Wars.
  • Yakarl rebalance.

What it means for players

Skins are purely cosmetic: they change how a champion looks, not what the champion does, so collectors and players who like to stand out on the Live Arena get a new reason to log in — without touching PvP balance. The Clan Shop overhaul matters most to active clans: what you get for clan activity now works differently, so it is worth rethinking what you spend on.

Per-round Skill Instructions are the most useful change for anyone who farms on auto: you now shape your team's behaviour round by round instead of relying on one general priority. Super Raids and Multi-Battle in Faction Wars save real time for players pushing several factions at once, and beginners benefit too, since auto-battle wastes fewer key skills. The Yakarl rebalance concerns owners of that champion — it is worth testing him in battle again and maybe rebuilding him.
