On December 8, 2022, RAID: Shadow Legends received Update 6.30. The patch introduced Artifact Ascension, a new dungeon called the Sand Devil's Necropolis with the boss Al-Naemeh, changes to Doom Tower Secret Room rewards, an Auto-Climb mode and rebalances for four champions.

What it means for players
Artifact Ascension is the headline feature: gear can be pushed further, which raises the ceiling on your team's power. For beginners it is a long-term goal — first build solid sets and max out your artifacts, then invest in ascension. Veterans and players pushing the hardest content get extra stats to work with.
The Sand Devil's Necropolis adds another source of gear, and it will require a dedicated team built around Al-Naemeh. Check the changed Secret Room rewards against the Doom Tower rotation, and note that Auto-Climb saves time for anyone clearing dozens of floors every week. The four champion rebalances are also worth reviewing, since those champions may now fill a different role in your roster.
