Update 7.10: Champion Lore In-Game and the Righteous Set

On May 11, 2023, RAID: Shadow Legends received update 7.10. It is a modest patch in scope, but it touches three things almost every player deals with: champion backstories, a new artifact set, and cleaning up the inventory after Multi-Battles.

What's new

  • Champion lore in game. A champion's backstory can now be read directly in the client, without leaving the game or switching to other resources.
  • Righteous artifact set. A new artifact set, Righteous, has been added to the game.
  • Gear selling filter for Multi-Battles. The rules that decide which gear is sold automatically now apply to Multi-Battles as well.

What it means for players

Lore in the client is mostly about atmosphere. For players who collect champions and follow the story, a favourite's history is now right there in the game instead of living in your memory or somewhere on the side. Beginners get a quicker feel for the world of RAID and for who they are actually fielding, while veterans can look at familiar faces from a new angle.

The selling filter for Multi-Battles is a purely practical change. After long farming sessions the inventory fills with junk, and clearing it by hand is tedious; now you can set the rules in advance and forget about the routine. It will matter most to players who run dungeons in long chains of battles. The new Righteous set, meanwhile, is another reason to revisit your builds: before spending relics, silver and time on it, work out how its bonuses fit your champions and the way you like to play.
