On December 12, 2023, RAID: Shadow Legends received update 8.00, and its headline addition is a brand-new mode: the Cursed City, also known as Sintranos. It is a separate zone with its own rules, built around the familiar Doom Tower structure.
What's new
- The Cursed City (Sintranos) mode — stage-based progression in the spirit of Doom Tower, with its own structure and restrictions.
- A mythical reward for the mode: Karnage the Anarch.
- Two new debuffs: Seal and Master Seal.
- Mythical Charms — a material for crafting Mythical Artifacts.
- Mythical Chaos Ore.
- A new summon: Remnant Summon.
What it means for players
This update is aimed first at players who have already cleared the core content: the Cursed City offers another PvE challenge and a route toward a mythical reward. The new Seal and Master Seal debuffs are worth keeping in mind when building teams — familiar setups may need rethinking, and understanding the mechanics will matter more than raw damage.
Mythical Charms and Mythical Chaos Ore add another layer to crafting: Mythical Artifacts now depend on separate resources, so it pays to plan your stock in advance. Beginners should not rush in — the mode is designed for prepared accounts — while clan players and PvP-focused summoners should watch the new debuffs closely, as they can shift how battles play out. Remnant Summon is also worth noting: one more summoning option to factor into how you spend your resources.
