In short

Fodbor the Bard is an Epic Spirit Attack champion from the Dwarves. His value is control and debuffs, not damage: buff stealing with a Stun and an AoE Decrease DEF. Build him as an Accuracy/Speed debuffer, first of all for Faction Wars.

Strengths

• Eerie Singing — an AoE with a 75% base chance to place 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns: a ready-made setup for your damage dealers on waves.
• Rogue's Tale steals 2 random buffs at 80%, and if the target has no buffs, it instead has 80% to place a 1-turn Stun on the same multiplier.
• Lone Axe hits 3 times, which chews through shields and passives, and adds a 15% chance of 100% Heal Reduction.
• Spirit affinity gives him a free hit into Force champions, which matters in Faction Wars and dungeon waves.

Weaknesses

• Only 1 454 base ATK, so even the 5.5× on the A2 and 3.4× AoE on the A3 never make his damage matter.
• Squishy: 826 DEF and 15 360 HP, with no shields or self-healing of his own.
• 100 base SPD is slow, and a 5-turn cooldown on the AoE means the debuff is not always up.
• The 100% Heal Reduction sits on a 15% chance only — forget about relying on it against bosses.

Where to use

His best home is Faction Wars (3.5/5), where he clears waves and chips bosses with debuffs. In Arena (3.0), Dungeons (3.0) and Hard content (3.0) he is average but useful as a Decrease DEF setup and buff thief. Doom Tower (2.5) and Hydra (2.5) are situational, while Clan Boss (2.0) and Chimera (2.0) are basically a waste of a slot.

Stats and gear

Priority: Accuracy → Speed → ATK and crit. Around 200–250 Accuracy covers dungeons and Faction Wars, 300+ for Hard content and Doom Tower. Aim for 170–200 Speed so the AoE comes back around. On a damage build, push C.RATE to 100% and C.DMG to 150%+.

Sets: Perception (Accuracy and Speed in one package), Speed, Accuracy; for damage, any ATK/Crit Damage set such as Savage.

Masteries and blessings

Trees: Offense + Support. From the build list take Pierce Defenses, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum and Boss Slayer, and finish with the Accuracy mastery in Support so his debuffs land more often.

Relics: Irethi Coronet and Perched Shadow. The build does not lock a blessing: as a debuffer take Accuracy or survivability, and on a damage setup standard offensive blessings such as Phantom Touch work fine.

Tombs

Do not invest Tomes — that is the author's direct call. Skill-ups mostly add damage and debuff chance; the only useful cooldown cuts are on the A2 (level 6) and the A3 (level 5). Tomes are always scarcer than the champions who need them.

Verdict

A solid mid-tier Epic for Faction Wars: not a damage dealer, but a debuff setup for the team. Level him — don't book him.
