Infernal Baroness — guide
Guide: Infernal Baroness
In short
Infernal Baroness is an Epic Defense champion of the Demons faction with Force affinity. Both of her AoE skills scale off DEF, and her A2 drops a 50% Decrease ATK on the whole enemy team — a budget debuffer for Arena and Faction Wars. Build priority: Speed first, then DEF, with enough ACC to land the debuff.
Strengths
- Two AoE hits that scale off DEF, so damage grows while you stack survivability.
- A1 heals the ally with the lowest HP for 5% of damage dealt — free sustain every turn.
- A2 applies 50% Decrease ATK for 2 turns to all enemies; the chance climbs noticeably once booked.
- A3 places Veil on an ally for 3 turns — a rare buff that protects a key target.
- Cheap to gear with plain Defense and Speed sets, and she doubles as a campaign food farmer thanks to the AoE A1.
Weaknesses
- Low bases: 95 SPD and 1,211 DEF, so gear has to fix everything.
- No revive, no shields, no hard control — in dungeons almost any real support replaces her.
- Decrease ATK is only 50% and chance-based before books.
- Nearly useless in Chimera, and thin value in Hydra and late Doom Tower.
Where to use
Best ratings are Arena, Faction Wars and Clan Boss (2.5 each). In Arena she is a cheap Decrease ATK and Veil provider against burst, in Demons Faction Wars she fills a support slot, and on Clan Boss the attack drop softens the boss. Dungeons, Doom Tower and Hard mode sit at 2.0 — she holds up mid-game and then runs out of utility. Hydra 2.0, Chimera 1.0: skip those.
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD → DEF → ACC. Rough targets: SPD 170–200, DEF 2,500–3,000 (DEF% gloves and chest), HP 35–45k, ACC 150–200 so Decrease ATK lands in dungeons and Arena. Only chase C.RATE and C.DMG if you want her AoE to actually hit. Sets: Speed, Defense, Perception for the ACC gap. Relics: Journal of Necrotos, Irethi Coronet.
Masteries and blessings
Offense and Support trees, taking Pierce Defenses, Invigorated and Boss Slayer from the recommended list. If you run her on Clan Boss, finish the Offense path up to the top-tier damage mastery; for Arena and Faction Wars the Support utility line is worth more. Blessings are not a priority here — that essence belongs on a keeper.
Tombs
Book A2 first: the extra chance plus the −1 cooldown is where all the value sits. A3 second if you actually play around Veil, since its only upgrade is the cooldown. A1 last — damage only. The author's note is that books here are situational; this is a mid-tier Epic and you can skip them entirely.
Verdict
Vault (fusion) — an average Epic without a niche. Keep her for a fusion or an early Demons Faction Wars team, and spend books and resources elsewhere.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
