Centurion — guide
Guide: Centurion
In short
Centurion is a Rare Defense champion of the Fallen faction with a Dark affinity: a self-healing tank whose damage scales from DEF, plus a rare HP-swap gimmick. He only shines in Arena and Faction Wars (2.5 out of 5 each); across PvE he sits at 1.0, so he is a vault champion. Build priority is survivability, not damage.
Strengths
- A1 "Joy of Suffering" heals him for 15% of damage dealt, and the damage itself scales from DEF — self-sustain without a support.
- A2 "Fearsome Endurance": heals 30% of MAX HP and grants himself a 30% DEF buff for 2 turns, with −1 cooldown at level 5.
- A3 "Soul Obsession" swaps HP with an enemy, then splits the team's total HP evenly — you can pull a nearly dead ally back from the brink.
- DEF-based damage means it is easy to make him a tank that does not fold to random AoE.
Weaknesses
- No debuffs on enemies and no buffs for the team — everything is selfish.
- Rare base stats are thin: 1,189 DEF and 93 SPD is low even for a tank.
- A3 is a gamble: swapping HP with a fat target can leave your team in a bad spot.
- Ratings of 1.0 in Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Dungeons, Hard and Doom Tower — not worth a slot there.
Where to use
His best scores are Arena (2.5) and Faction Wars (2.5). In Arena he is a niche HP-swap trick against high-HP targets; in Faction Wars he is a filler tank who fills a Fallen slot. Everything else — Clan Boss (1.0), Hydra (1.0), Chimera (1.0), Dungeons (1.0), Hard (1.0), Doom Tower (1.0) — is not his fight.
Stats and gear
Priority: DEF → HP → SPD. Rough targets: 3,000+ DEF, 40,000+ HP, 170–200 SPD. Accuracy is pointless since he lands no debuffs; C.RATE and C.DMG can be ignored, and Resistance is the better filler if you use him in Arena. Recommended sets from the list: Regeneration, Immortal, Guardian, Bolster.
Masteries and blessings
Go Defense (tank stats) and Support (survivability and healing); from the recommended list take Invigorated. Blessing: Faultless Defense, a natural fit for a tank. Relic: Journal of Necrotos.
Tombs
If tomes go into him at all, book A2 "Fearsome Endurance" first: the last level gives −1 cooldown plus a total of +20% healing, meaning more DEF uptime and more sustain. Then A3, where a single tome buys −1 cooldown on the swap. With a vault verdict, though, tomes are better saved for champions who actually play.
Verdict
Vault (fusion): a fun HP-swap mechanic does not make up for zero team utility and weak base stats. Keep him for Faction Wars and Fusion, and build him only if you must.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.

Centurion Raid Shadow Legends is a champion from the "The Corrupted" union of the "Knights Revenant" faction. His main role in the team is Defense. He can heal from damage dealt, and also has an interesting mechanic of swapping HP with an enemy champion.
