Lightsworn — guide

In short

Lightsworn is an Epic Defense champion of the Sacred Order with Void affinity, so he never lands weak hits. His selling point is a team-wide 60% Increase DEF together with Revive on Death, plus Decrease ATK and Decrease SPD on enemies. Build priority is simple: Speed, DEF, Accuracy — that keeps his buffs and debuffs running.

Strengths

• His A3 gives the whole team 60% Increase DEF and Revive on Death for 2 turns — run-saving insurance in dungeons and boss fights.
• His A2 places 50% Decrease ATK and 30% Decrease SPD for 2 turns and deals damage off DEF (5×DEF), so one stat covers damage, survival and debuffs.
• His A1 hits 3 times and drops 10% turn meter per hit — good against Fire Knight's shield and against fast bosses.
• Void affinity: no weak hits, so his damage and control are consistent everywhere.
• Cheap to book: two cooldown books on A2 and A3 unlock his full kit.

Weaknesses

• Low base SPD (97) and no real Accuracy — without Speed and Accuracy gear his A2 debuffs will miss.
• No heal, no cleanse and no true revive: Revive on Death only works on champions that die while buffed.
• Very little personal damage — he is a pure defensive support.
• Weak in Hydra (2.5) and in Hard mode (2.0), where the meta wants something else.

Where to use

Best area is Dungeons (4.0): Increase DEF plus Revive on Death carry the run, and the turn meter cut helps on bosses. Next come Faction Wars (3.5), Clan Boss (3.5) and Chimera (3.5), where he keeps the team alive and keeps Decrease ATK up. Arena (3.0) and Doom Tower (3.0) are situational — use him as a second defensive support. Hydra (2.5) and Hard mode (2.0) are his weakest spots.

Stats and gear

Priority: SPD → DEF → ACC → HP. Targets: 170–220 Speed (Speed boots are mandatory), 3000–4000+ DEF, 200–250 Accuracy for dungeons and Doom Tower (more for high floors), HP as a bonus. Gloves DEF% (or C.RATE if you want A2 to hurt), Chest DEF%, Boots SPD. Recommended sets: Defense, Speed, Lifesteal, Accuracy — Speed + Defense is the core mix, and Lifesteal pays off if he attacks often.

Masteries and blessings

Go Support for speed and accuracy and Defense for survivability. From the recommended list take Expeditious Exploitation and Gathering Momentum. Relics: Tempus Sanguinis, Perched Shadow.

Tombs

Book A3 first — the cooldown cut means more uptime on 60% Increase DEF and Revive on Death. Then A2 for more Decrease ATK and Decrease SPD uptime. Leave A1 for last.

Verdict

A solid Epic defender — level him and feed him books, especially if you need dependable support for dungeons and Faction Wars.
