Guide: Chemist

In short

Chemist is an Uncommon Magic Attack champion from the Dwarves faction. His only real tool is a single-target hit with a small Stun chance (15%, doubled to 30% against enemies under 50% HP), and with 1046 ATK / 870 DEF he neither deals damage nor survives. Build priority: none — he is vault fodder and fusion material.

Strengths

  • Provides the only crowd control early Dwarves teams have: a 1-turn Stun that helps in the first Faction Wars stages.
  • The Stun chance doubles against low-HP targets, so he can finish off weakened enemies.
  • His A1 hits twice, which means more rolls for on-hit effects and set procs.
  • As an Uncommon he is cheap to book and needs almost no investment to function as a body.

Weaknesses

  • Terrible base stats: 1046 ATK and 870 DEF — no damage, no survivability.
  • A 15–30% Stun without Accuracy investment almost never lands, and Accuracy on him is wasted slots.
  • No AoE, no buffs or debuffs beyond the Stun, no passive.
  • Brings nothing to Clan Boss, Arena or Doom Tower.

Where to use

At best Faction Wars (2.0/5), and only as a filler in early stages until you pull real Dwarves. Chimera (1.5) and dungeons / Hard mode (1.0) are early-progression only — he is there to fill a slot. Clan Boss, Arena, Doom Tower and dungeons (0.5) are not his content. The site verdict is blunt: vault (fusion).

Stats and gear

If you must field him in Faction Wars: SPD around 170–190, ACC 150–200 so the Stun actually lands, then ATK% and crit (C.RATE toward 60–70%, C.DMG whatever is left). Sets: Speed + Accuracy, or Perception. Savage/Cruel only if you insist on building him as a nuker — the damage will still be negligible. Do not push great hall or glyphs into him.

Masteries and blessings

PVE trees only: Attack tree (ATK, C.DMG, Warmaster for Clan Boss) plus Support (Accuracy, Speed) to support the Stun. PVP masteries exist for Arena, but the author does not recommend them — he is not a PvP champion. Skip blessings entirely; spending on an Uncommon vault hero is wasted resources.

Tomes

Book his A2 first: the last level cuts its cooldown by 1, which directly raises how often you roll for the Stun — the only reason to use him. A1 damage and the bonus Stun chance upgrades come later, if you have spare books.

Verdict

Chemist is a transitional Uncommon: a bit of control for early Faction Wars and fusion food. Don't invest — keep him in the vault.
