Ithos — guide

In short

Ithos is a Legendary Attack champion of the High Elves with Dark affinity. He is a pure AoE nuker: his A3 hits every enemy and always crits, and his aura gives the team +33% C.RATE in Arena. Build him for Arena and Faction Wars first; he is not a Clan Boss champion.

Strengths

• A3 hits all enemies and always lands a critical hit — you don't need C.RATE for it at all, everything goes into ATK and C.DMG.
• Aura: +33% Ally C.RATE in Arena, which frees up gear on the whole team.
• A2 hits all enemies three times, each hit with a 50% chance to place 15% Weaken for 2 turns — a solid setup for your next nuke.
• A1 is a 3.8× ATK hit with a 20% chance of an extra turn, and it cuts the target's MAX HP by 15% of damage dealt.
• Base ATK of 1 608 — damage scales fast even on mid-tier gear.

Weaknesses

• 716 DEF and 18 825 HP — paper thin, any enemy nuker can one-shot him.
• 99 SPD — slow, so he needs Speed boots and team support with Increase SPD or shields.
• Clan Boss rating is 2.0: no single-target damage and no boss debuffs.
• Gear and book hungry; he does not perform straight out of the box.

Where to use

Best areas are Arena (4.5/5) and Faction Wars (4.5/5), then Doom Tower (4.0/5). Hydra, Chimera, dungeons and Hard mode sit at 3.0 — there he is just another damage dealer with no extra utility. Clan Boss is 2.0, not his mode. One special case: Borgoth, where the MAX HP cut from his A1 works directly against the boss.

Stats and gear

Priority: ATK% → C.DMG → SPD. Rough targets: 4 000+ ATK, 200%+ C.DMG, 180–200 SPD (200+ with a speed lead in Arena), 60–70% C.RATE so A1 and A2 crit as well. Add ACC only if you want the Weaken from A2 to actually land — around 150.

Sets: Savage or Cruel/Fatal plus Crit Damage; Offense works fine early. For Borgoth, go Destroy.

Masteries and blessings

Main tree is Offense: Pierce Defenses, Rolling Force, Constant Onslaught, Bloodthirsty Prowess, Boss Slayer. Spend the rest in Defense/Support for survivability — in Arena that matters more than a bit of extra damage. Relics to look at: Malefic Talon, Irethi Coronet, Stormcaller.

Tomes

Books are worth it, but in order. Start with A3: two of its books cut the cooldown, which is pure uptime on your main nuke. Then A2 (cooldown -1 at level 5). Book A1 last — damage only.

Verdict

Build him. He is a top damage dealer for Arena, Faction Wars and Doom Tower, and simply not a Clan Boss pick.
