Kytis — guide
Guide: Kytis
In short
Kytis is an Epic Spirit Attack champion from the Knights Revenant. He plays almost exclusively in the Arena: his passive gives the whole team +33% HP, Impale grants himself Attack Up and hits four times, and his A1 spreads Heal Reduction. Build him for Attack and Crit Rate — in PvE he is a pass-through pick.
Strengths
- Passive gives allies +33% HP in the Arena — quiet, but a real survivability boost for the whole team.
- Impale (A2): self Attack Up 50% for 2 turns, then four hits on random enemies; hits on buffed targets are always critical, which punishes shield and buff-stacking defences.
- A1 lands a 100% Heal Reduction for 2 turns (85% chance, 100% after books), cutting heals, Lifesteal and regeneration.
- Blood Wounds hits the entire enemy team twice and scales up the more HP Kytis has lost.
Weaknesses
- Only 1,222 base Attack and 95 Speed — without proper gear he is not a damage dealer.
- His A3 only triggers below 50% HP, so you have to take damage first to use it.
- Ratings of 0.5–2.0 in Clan Boss, Hydra, dungeons, Chimera and Doom Tower — he is near-useless there.
- No utility beyond Heal Reduction: no control, no buff stripping.
Where to use
Arena (4.0) is his home: the passive and his whole buff/debuff kit work there. Faction Wars (3.5) is the second option — but the passive only applies in the Arena, so there he is just a damage dealer with Heal Reduction. Dungeons, Clan Boss and Hydra (2.0 each) only if you have nobody better. Doom Tower (2.0) and Chimera (0.5) — skip.
Stats and gear
Priority: Crit Rate to 100%, then Crit Damage, Attack and Speed. Rough targets: 3,500–4,000 Attack, 100% Crit Rate, 150–200% Crit Damage, 170–200 Speed, a bit of Accuracy (150+) so Heal Reduction lands, leftover into HP/DEF. From the build list, run the Malefic Talon and Gorecrescent relics.
Masteries and blessings
Damage-oriented picks: Pierce Defenses, Foekiller, Piercing Strike and Bloodthirsty Prowess. The build list names no blessings — take whatever boosts his damage; he is an Arena piece anyway, so generic PvE blessings are wasted on him.
Tomes
Book Impale first: levels 5 and 6 cut its cooldown and add damage, and it is his main burst. Then the A1, to push the Heal Reduction chance from 85% to 100%. Leave the A3 for last — tomes only add damage there.
Verdict
A middling Epic with an Arena slant: level him if you want team HP and Heal Reduction for Arena, which is exactly what the author's "level him up" verdict is about. Not worth the resources for PvE.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
