Guide: Crohnam

In short

Crohnam is a Magic Attack legendary from the Barbarians who is built entirely around HP Burn: he spreads it, detonates it and extends debuffs. He shines in Hydra and in single-boss dungeons, and gets noticeably better next to Jamarsa. Build priority is Accuracy and Speed first, damage second.

Strengths

  • His A3 is an AoE HP Burn for 2 turns (100% chance after books), and he fills his own Turn Meter by 15% per enemy he burns.
  • The passive fires his A2 for free after 10 skill uses by anyone on the field — only 5 with Jamarsa in the team.
  • His A2 instantly activates every HP Burn on the targets and heals him 10% of max HP per burn activated — damage and sustain in one button.
  • Accuracy aura of +50 in all battles, which helps the whole team, not just him.
  • With Jamarsa his A1 also extends Health Burn, and he revives with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter.

Weaknesses

  • Very low base ATK (1,564) and thin DEF — he is not a nuker who carries the damage.
  • Single-target damage is weak, so Clan Boss and Doom Tower are not his home.
  • The passive is counter-based and simply does not trigger in short fights.
  • A chunk of his kit is locked behind Jamarsa.

Where to use

Hydra is his best home (5/5): HP Burn on the heads, debuff extension and free A2 activations all matter there. Next are dungeons (4/5) — Spider's Den, Sorath, Agreth, plus Al-Naemeh and Archon Amius. He is also fine in Faction Wars and hard dungeons (4/5), average in Chimera and Arena (3.5/5). Clan Boss (3/5) and Doom Tower (2.5/5) are his weakest spots because his single-target damage falls short.

Stats and gear

Accuracy first: roughly 200–250+ for Hydra and high dungeon levels, otherwise the burns get resisted. Then Speed, ideally 200+, so he cycles the AoE burn and the passive more often. After that survivability — HP% and DEF%, since his base ATK is low and chasing crit is a waste; keep C.RATE and C.DMG as leftovers. Sets: Accuracy, Speed, Reflex, Relentless, Perception (two of them is enough). Relics: Golden Elixir, Irethi Coronet, Skull of Treason.

Masteries and blessings

The PvE tree for dungeons, Clan Boss, Doom Tower and Faction Wars: Pierce Defenses, Survival Speed, Destructive Accuracy, Unflinching, Nimblemiss, Buff Depletion, Boss Slayer. For Arena there is a separate nuker tree. Blessings: Brimstone as the main pick, with Heavencast and Polymorph as alternatives.

Tombs

Book the A3 first: the last level cuts its cooldown by 1 and the debuff chance upgrades push the HP Burn to 100%. Then finish the A2 up to 100% activation. The A1 comes last — it is about extending debuffs rather than raw numbers.

Verdict

The site author's verdict is vault (fusion). Still, building him within your first year is reasonable if you need HP Burn and the Accuracy aura for Hydra and Faction Wars.
