Quargan the Crowned — guide
Guide: Quargan the Crowned
In short
Quargan the Crowned is an Epic Spirit Support from the Lizardmen — a healer who hands out team-wide buffs with a single cast. He shines in Hydra and Faction Wars, where healing plus Block Debuffs actually matter, and is a passable filler elsewhere. Build priority is Speed first, then survivability; Accuracy is completely irrelevant on him.
Strengths
- Harmony (A3) buffs the whole team in one turn: allies with ATK higher than DEF get Veil + 50% ATK Up, allies with DEF higher than ATK get 60% DEF Up + Block Debuffs. No Accuracy needed — he buffs allies, not debuffs enemies.
- Rapid Growth heals every ally for 15% of their MAX HP and puts a 15% MAX HP shield on them for 2 turns — solid sustained support.
- Nature's Cycle has a 30% chance to extend a random buff on a random ally by 1 turn — free extra uptime, including on his own buffs.
- Block Debuffs, even for 1 turn, is a real answer to debuff-heavy fights.
- Genuine value in Faction Wars (3.5) and Hydra (3.5), with noted synergy alongside Roxam.
Weaknesses
- Very low base DEF (1,222) and only average HP for a support — AoE-heavy waves shred him.
- No cleanse, no revive, no turn meter manipulation.
- The Harmony split is decided per ally by their ATK/DEF ratio — in a mixed team you can't control who gets what.
- Base Speed 103 is slow, and his entire kit lives on cycling turns.
- Hard mode rating 2.0 — he does not scale into the toughest content.
Where to use
Hydra and Faction Wars are his best homes (3.5 each) — healing, shields and Block Debuffs all pull weight there. Chimera, Arena and Dungeons sit around 3.0: usable filler, not a plan. Doom Tower (2.5) and Clan Boss (2.5) are weak — no poison, no HP burn, no ally protect, nothing the boss cares about. Hard mode (2.0) is a skip.
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD → HP% / DEF%. Aim for 200–250+ Speed so Harmony and Rapid Growth actually cycle, then stack HP% and DEF% so he survives long enough to cast. Accuracy is not needed at all — he applies no debuffs. Ignore C.RATE and C.DMG. Recommended sets: Speed, Divine Speed. Relics: Journal of Necrotos, Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
Go down the Support tree: Blessed Heal, Invigorated, Heal 'N' Go — all three boost his healing and shield output. Fill the rest with survivability nodes, since he brings no damage and no debuffs. The build list gives no blessing; take a defensive or support-oriented one rather than anything offensive.
Tomes
Book Harmony first: its two cooldown books take it from a 6-turn to a 4-turn cooldown, the single biggest upgrade to the champion. After that, Rapid Growth's final book (−1 cooldown) is worth it; the early heal and shield percentage books are minor. If tomes are tight, stop after Harmony.
Verdict
Vault (fusion) material. Build him only if you need Lizardmen Faction Wars help or you're running the Roxam synergy.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
