Bloodpainter — guide
Guide: Bloodpainter
In short
Bloodpainter is a Rare Attack champion from the Werewolves faction with Force affinity. His real value is support, not damage: Shaman's Drum fills allies' Turn Meters by 20% and gives Attack Up 25% for 2 turns. Build him only for early game or Faction Wars, with Speed and Accuracy first, not crit.
Strengths
- Shaman's Drum fills every ally's Turn Meter by 20% except his own and adds Attack Up. For an early team, that is a noticeable push.
- Rot hits all enemies and has a 30% chance to place Accuracy Down 30% for 2 turns, which can help against debuff-heavy enemies.
- Spear Throw hits twice and has a 15% chance to place Poison 5% for 1 turn; early on, that is minor extra damage.
- His best rating is 2.5 in Faction Wars: if your faction roster is empty, he can plug a hole as a Turn Meter support.
Weaknesses
- Base Attack is only 1,134, Defense 837, and HP 15,855 — he barely damages as a nuker and is fragile as a fighter.
- Debuff chances are low: 15% for Poison and 30% for Accuracy Down. Without Accuracy it is a coin flip; with Accuracy it is still unreliable.
- Shaman's Drum does not fill his own Turn Meter, and cooldowns are long without books.
- Ratings of 1.0 in Hydra and Chimera and 1.5 in Doom Tower show he has no endgame place.
Where to use
Start with Faction Wars (2.5): use him as a Turn Meter push and Attack Up bot for a weak team. Next are early Dungeons, Arena, and Hard content (2.0 each), but only until you have real supports. In Clan Boss (2.0) he does not solve anything: 5% Poison and low damage do not matter much. In Doom Tower (1.5), Hydra, and Chimera (1.0), do not spend a slot on him.
Stats and gear
Priority: Speed → Accuracy → survivability. Rough targets for early Faction Wars and dungeons: SPD 170–200, ACC 150–200, then HP and Defense. Do not chase Attack and crit for damage: the base is too low, and 15% Crit Rate plus 50% Crit Damage do nothing by themselves. The provided build does not list artifact sets; practical choices are Speed and Accuracy/Perception. The listed relic is Journal of Necrotos — use it if you have it and a more important champion does not need it.
Masteries and blessings
The build lists only the Invigorated mastery; there is no full tree. If you truly have nothing else, take general Speed, Accuracy, and support masteries, but I would not justify a full scroll investment in Bloodpainter. No blessing is listed — do not invest there.
Tombs
If tomes somehow land on him, book Shaman's Drum first — it has two cooldown reductions of -1, and that is his main support skill. Then Rot for +10% debuff chance and cooldown reduction. Spear Throw comes last. Per the site verdict, saving books is better.
Verdict
Vault (fusion). Take him out only for Faction Wars or if you have no early Turn Meter support at all.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.

Shaman's Drum
Matador is a Champion from the Gaellen Pact faction, the Skinwalkers. His main role in a team is Attack. With his skills, he fills allies' Turn Meters and places Increase ATK buffs on them. He also decreases enemies' ACC and poisons them. Artifacts with Attack and C.RATE work well for him.
