Dead Swordsman — guide
Guide: Dead Swordsman
In short
Dead Swordsman is an Uncommon Defense champion from the Undead Hordes with Force affinity. Overall rating is 1.0 out of 5 and the site verdict is blunt: food. The only reason to ever look at him is a Faction Wars slot or a brand-new account with nothing better to field.
Strengths
- His A2 hits all enemies and has a 75% base chance to place 2.5% Poison for 2 turns — an AoE debuff like that is rare on an Uncommon.
- Poison ticks off enemy HP, so he does something in early Spider and low-tier dungeon bosses.
- Zero-setup kit: press the button, the debuff goes out, no combo required.
- Force affinity gives a damage bonus into Magic enemies in early content.
Weaknesses
- 0.5 across nearly every mode — he does not make a serious team.
- Weak 6★ stats for a Defense role: 1,035 DEF, 13,380 HP, only 100 SPD.
- No buffs, no control, nothing but a tiny poison — 2.5% ticks are chip damage.
- Base ACC is 0, so without accuracy gear the poison simply won't land.
Where to use
There is little to choose from: his “best” scores are 1.0 in Faction Wars and Clan Boss, everything else sits at 0.5. In Faction Wars he can plug a hole in an Undead Hordes team until real champions arrive. On Clan Boss a 2.5% poison is negligible — only worth it in the first days of an account. Arena, Hydra, Chimera, dungeons, hard modes and Doom Tower — skip.
Stats and gear
The site lists no builds for him, which is the right call: there is no reason to invest. If you insist on Faction Wars, priority is SPD (170+), then ACC (100+) so the poison actually lands, then HP%/DEF% for survival. Sets: Speed and Perception made from leftovers — don't craft gear for him.
Masteries and blessings
Don't spend scrolls on food. If you must, take the Defense tree for baseline survival plus Support for accuracy; nobody publishes key masteries for him, and blessings are not his story either.
Tomes
Don't book him — books belong to real champions. If you somehow turned him into a poison bot, max the A2 first: its levels 3, 5 and 7 add to the debuff chance (75% → 100%), and that is the only thing on him that actually works.
Verdict
Food is food — use him as rank-up material. No book, scroll or raid is worth investing into Dead Swordsman.
