Guide: Nekhret the Great

In short

Nekhret the Great is a legendary Void Defense champion from the Undead Hordes, one of the strongest support champions for Arena. His main strength lies in irremovable Ally Protection shields, Block Debuffs, and Strengthen, which he distributes with incredible speed. Build him as a priority if you pull him — he's a top-tier champion for PvP and difficult content.

Strengths

  • Irremovable Ally Protection 50% with Block Debuffs and Strengthen 25% for 3 turns — one of the best defensive combos in the game.
  • Passive "Eternal Shield" places an additional Shield equal to 30% of his MAX HP when an ally under Ally Protection is attacked, making the team nearly unkillable.
  • Passive "Mass Uprising" automatically buffs the ally with the lowest MAX HP at the start of each round, requiring no turn.
  • Aura increases Ally RESIST in all battles by 60 — a huge boost for debuff protection.
  • Skill "Legion of the Damned" allows all allies under Ally Protection to join the attack, providing massive burst damage.

Weaknesses

  • Low base Speed (97) — requires very fast gear to apply buffs before enemies take a turn.
  • Almost useless without Tomes — skill cooldowns are critically important for protection cycling.
  • Vulnerable to buff removal if enemies attack before Ally Protection is applied (the shield itself is irremovable, but Block Debuffs and Strengthen can be stripped).
  • Mediocre damage — his role is strictly defense and support, not dealing damage.

Where to use

Best in Arena (5.0), where his buffs decide the outcome of battles. Excellent for Clan Boss (4.5) and Faction Wars (4.5), ensuring survivability. Good in Dungeons (4.0), Doom Tower (4.0), and Chimera (4.0). Less effective in Hydra (3.5) and Hard Campaign (3.0) due to mechanics, but still useful.

Stats and gear

Stat priority: Speed (as high as possible, minimum 250+ for Arena), HP (target 80-100k), Defense (3-4k), Resistance (300+). Accuracy is not needed, Crit is not needed. Recommended sets: Speed, Defense, Immortal, Resilience. The main goal is to maximize Speed to go first and stack as much HP as possible for thicker shields.

Masteries and blessings

Mastery trees: Defense and Support. Key masteries: Blessed Heal, Invigorated, Gathering Momentum, Damage Mitigation, Heal 'N' Go, Buff Depletion, Bolstered Defense. For blessings, Wand of Submission, Volcardiac Heart, and Perched Shadow are excellent for enhancing control and survivability.

Tomes

Tomes are mandatory. Prioritize "Forced Healing" (A3) to reduce the cooldown to 3 turns — this is the core of his cycling. Then "Legion of the Damned" (A2) for a 4-turn cooldown. "Fatal Falchion" (A1) can be booked last, as damage and debuff chance are not critical.

Verdict

Nekhret the Great is an absolute beast in Arena and one of the best defensive champions in the game. If you get him, build him without hesitation — he will make your team nearly invulnerable to enemy focus.
