Guide: Necrohunter

In short

Necrohunter is an Epic Attack champion from Knights Revenant with Magic affinity. He is at his best in Arena (3.5/5) and Faction Wars (3.5/5), while in Clan Boss, Hydra and Chimera he is strictly average. Build priority is low: the site verdict is "Vault (fusion)" and the note says do not invest.

Strengths

  • Grave Storm (A2): 5.5×ATK on the target plus a 50% chance of an extra 2.5×ATK hit on all enemies — decent burst for an Epic in Arena.
  • Deathbolt (A1) hits twice, each hit with a 50% chance to place 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns — a working setup for your damage dealers.
  • Tombseeker (A3) hits for 6×ATK and grants Necrohunter a Veil for 2 turns on a critical hit; he was one of the first champions in the game to get that buff.
  • 3.5/5 in Faction Wars: he clears Knights Revenant stages where AoE damage is often missing.

Weaknesses

  • Weak base stats: 1,398 ATK, 1,068 DEF, 98 SPD — neither a real nuker nor a tank nor a fast support.
  • All damage scales off ATK with average multipliers, and his debuff kit adds almost nothing in Clan Boss, Hydra or Chimera.
  • Key effects sit at a 50% chance, so without books and Accuracy he is unreliable.
  • Dungeons 2.0 and Hard content 1.0 — late-game PvE simply has no room for him.

Where to use

Best spot is Arena (3.5/5): an AoE nuker and Decrease DEF enabler for your damage dealers. Second is Knights Revenant Faction Wars (3.5/5). In Clan Boss, Hydra and Chimera (2.5 each) only if you have nothing better. Dungeons (2.0), Doom Tower (2.0) and Hard modes (1.0) are not his content.

Stats and gear

Priority: ATK% → C.RATE up to 100% → C.DMG → SPD. If you want a reliable Decrease DEF from A1, push Accuracy to roughly 150–200 (less is fine in Arena).

The author lists no artifact sets, so go with standard nuker gear: Savage or Lethal paired with Crit Damage, ATK% gloves and an ATK ring. From the relic list, use Malefic Talon and Gorecrescent.

Masteries and blessings

Listed masteries: Pierce Defenses, Foekiller, Piercing Strike and Bloodthirsty Prowess — a standard damage package through the Attack tree. No blessing is listed, and spending resources on one for a vault champion makes little sense.

Tombs

Book Grave Storm first: the level 5 upgrade cuts its cooldown by 1, the biggest gain he gets. Then Deathbolt, where the Decrease DEF chance goes from 50% to 65%. Leave Tombseeker for last — only damage and cooldown there.

Verdict

Vault (fusion), do not invest. Keep him for fusion fodder and Faction Wars stages you cannot fill otherwise.
