Roshcard the Tower — guide
Guide: Roshcard the Tower
In short
Roshcard the Tower is a Legendary Sacred Order tank with the HP role: his job is to put Block Damage on the whole team and land an unresistable Block Active Skills plus Block Buffs on the enemy. He shines in Clan Boss (unkillable comps) and dungeons; in PvP he is solid but not top tier. Build priority is HP and Speed, and books are mandatory or the unkillable cycle falls apart.
Strengths
- His A3 places Block Damage on all allies for 2 turns — the backbone of an unkillable Clan Boss team and a safety net in hard dungeon waves.
- A2 applies Block Active Skills and Block Buffs for 2 turns, and the debuff cannot be resisted — enemy Accuracy means nothing.
- The passive adds +33% HP to all allies in every battle, so the whole team gets tougher for free.
- A1 has a 50% chance to strip a random buff from the target — handy against shields and defensive buffs.
- A2 damage scales off HP, so the tank still contributes numbers.
Weaknesses
- Base Speed is only 100 — without speed gear and a tuned turn order he simply never gets Block Damage up in time.
- A2 is single-target with no AoE damage, and he is weak in the Hard mode (2/5).
- A1 damage scales off a 947 Attack stat, which is effectively nothing.
- Unkillable teams demand exact cooldown synchronisation — he is not a fire-and-forget pick.
Where to use
Clan Boss first and foremost (5/5) — that is his home stage, the unkillable composition lives and dies by him. Then Dungeons (4/5), Doom Tower (4/5) and Faction Wars (4/5), where mass Block Damage is always welcome. In Arena — Classic, Tag Team and Live (3.5/5) — he works, but faster teams can simply outrun him; Chimera sits at 3.5/5 and Hydra at 3/5 depending on the head. Skip Hard mode (2/5).
Stats and gear
Stack HP%: his A2 damage and the team's bulk both scale from it. Speed is the second priority — aim for 200–250+ to fix that base 100. Defence and Resistance (base 50) are nice-to-have safety stats. Accuracy only matters for the A1 buff strip, not for the A2 debuff, so don't invest heavily in it. Crit stats are pointless — he is not a damage dealer. Sets: Lifesteal or Immortal as the base, Divine Speed on top, and Cruel as an alternative if you want extra damage.
Masteries and blessings
Go for survivability and support: Blessed Heal, Invigorated, Unstoppable, Power Reset, Gathering Momentum, Heal 'N' Go. Blessing: Brimstone. Relic options worth a look: Wand of Submission, Hand of Uncreation, Perched Shadow.
Tombs
Book the A3 first: its two cooldown reductions are what make the unkillable rotation line up. Then the A2 (cooldown -1 at level 5) so Block Active Skills comes back faster.
Verdict
Build him. He is a dedicated Clan Boss tank and the go-to source of mass Block Damage, and books in him are part of the build, not a luxury.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
