In short
Psylar is an Epic Support from the Dark Elves: AoE Decrease ACC, AoE Decrease SPD and a 40% turn meter reduction on the whole enemy team. She shines in the Dark Elves Crypt, where her aura gives allies +22% SPD, and in Arena against fast squads. Build her for SPD and ACC — damage is not the point.
Strengths
- A3 places Decrease SPD 30% for 2 turns on all enemies and cuts their turn meters by 40% — you take the first turn.
- A2 has an 80% chance to place Decrease ACC 50% for 2 turns on everyone — it mutes enemy debuffers.
- Aura: +22% SPD for allies in Faction Crypts, which makes her close to mandatory in the Dark Elves Crypt.
- Both debuffs are AoE, with no conditions and no single-target checks.
- With books her cooldowns are short enough that the debuffs have almost no downtime.
Weaknesses
- Her damage scales off ATK, but base ATK is only 1,123 — don't expect hits.
- 969 DEF: all survivability has to come from gear.
- Nearly useless on Clan Boss and against higher difficulty bosses (2.0) — her debuff package isn't valued there.
- Against enemies that don't apply debuffs, Decrease ACC does nothing.
Where to use
Dark Elves Crypt (4.0) comes first, purely for the SPD aura. Then Arena (3.5), where the turn meter cut and Decrease SPD wreck the enemy opener. Doom Tower (3.0), Hydra (3.0) and Chimera (2.5) use her as a tempo controller; normal dungeons (3.0) as a safety debuffer. Skip her for Clan Boss (2.0) and high difficulty content (2.0).
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD → ACC → HP%/DEF%. Targets: 200–250 SPD (higher for Arena), 200–250 ACC (300+ for Arena), everything else into survivability. C.RATE and C.DMG are irrelevant. Gloves HP% or DEF%, boots SPD, chest HP/DEF, banner ACC.
Sets: Speed and Stun as the base, round it out with Perception or Accuracy.
Masteries and blessings
Recommended picks: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum — a mix of survivability, accuracy and tempo. Relics: Orb of Transfixion or Perched Shadow.
Tomes
Book A3 first: levels 2 and 3 each remove 1 turn of cooldown, so the turn meter reduction comes around much more often. Then push A2 to its −1 cooldown and +10% debuff chance. Don't book A1.
Verdict
The site author says build her: best epic, worth the books, Arena. Psylar is a cheap and reliable tempo-control tool, especially in the Crypt.
