Shamrock — guide
Guide: Shamrock
In short
Shamrock is a Legendary Support from Ogryn Tribes (Spirit). His value is not damage but team buffs and tempo control: 60% DEF Increase, 30% SPD Increase and a team-wide SPD debuff with turn meter reduction. Build him with HP and DEF plus SPD and ACC — mainly for Faction Wars and Hydra.
Strengths
- Lucky Break — 60% DEF Increase on the whole team for 2 turns, on top of that 30% SPD Increase for allies above 50% HP and a 50% chance of 30% C.RATE Increase for 2 turns.
- Elusive Spirit — 30% SPD debuff on all enemies for 2 turns plus 15% turn meter reduction, with a 10% chance to cut another 15%.
- ★★★ Ascension bonus — if any enemy is below 50% turn meter, his third skill fills the whole team's turn meters by 15%.
- Aura: +70 ACC to allies in all battles — Hydra and Doom Tower teams always want accuracy.
- A1 steals buffs — two hits, each with a 35% chance to steal 1 random buff from the target.
Weaknesses
- No damage: 1 002 ATK and an ATK-scaling A1 — forget about him as a damage dealer.
- No healing, no shields, no revive — his support is buffs and turn meter only.
- He needs his own ACC for the SPD debuff, while his ACC aura only helps allies.
- Ogryn Tribes has stronger legendaries, so his team slot is never guaranteed.
Where to use
Best area is Faction Wars (4.5/5) — Ogryns lack a real support and his buffs plus SPD debuff clear stages. Next come Hydra and Chimera (4.0/5), where the ACC aura, DEF Increase and turn meter control all matter. He is average in Arena and Clan Boss (3.5/5) and weak in Dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower (3.0/5), where you want different tools.
Stats and gear
Priority: HP and DEF (base 20 805 HP / 1 189 DEF), then SPD, then ACC. Targets: SPD 200–250, ACC 200–250 for the SPD debuff, and as much HP/DEF as you can stack without losing speed. C.RATE and C.DMG are irrelevant.
Sets: Life, Defense, Speed, Perception (accuracy).
Masteries and blessings
Take the survivability/support package: Invigorated, Critical Bolster, Speedy Willpower, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum, Necrodefense — all about living long enough to cycle his skills. Relics: Journal of Necrotos, Perched Shadow, Gilded Pinion. Blessings are not critical; pick a defensive one so he does not drop first.
Tombs
If you actually field him, book the −1 cooldown on Elusive Spirit first (level 2 of the skill) — it is his most frequent and most useful ability. Then push Lucky Break to level 6 for +20% buff chance and −1 cooldown. A1 books last. If he is going to the Vault, save your tomes.
Verdict
A weak legendary: he breaks nothing, but he does not carry either. Build him for Faction Wars and Hydra, otherwise he is Vault (or fusion) material.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
