Shatterbones — guide
Guide: Shatterbones
In short
Shatterbones is an Epic Attack champion of the Ogryn Tribes (Force affinity) with an Arena aura that gives allies +70 Accuracy. That is exactly where he shines, alongside dungeons: a triple-hit AoE that knocks down Turn Meters, a Speed debuff on enemies and a Turn Meter fill for his own team. Build him for Attack and Critical Rate, with just enough Speed and Accuracy so his Turn Meter reduction and debuffs actually land.
Strengths
- His A2 hits all enemies three times and has a 50% chance to reduce Turn Meter by 30% — damage and control in one slot.
- His A3 places a 15% Speed debuff for 2 turns and fills allies' Turn Meters by 25%: your team speeds up, theirs slows down.
- The Arena aura (+70 Accuracy) is free Accuracy for the whole team and saves gear stats.
- His A1 grants allies a 25% Attack buff when it crits — small, but free.
Weaknesses
- Modest base stats: 1,498 Attack, 881 Defense, 13,875 HP — he folds under focused fire.
- 97 Speed is slow; without a Turn Meter support he will not get many turns.
- Almost nothing for bosses: no poisons, shields or damage reduction, so Clan Boss, Hydra and Chimera are not his content.
- Turn Meter reduction and the Speed debuff depend on Accuracy and run into enemy Resistance.
Where to use
Arena (3/5) and dungeons (3/5) come first — that is where his AoE plus Turn Meter fill does its job. Next are Doom Tower (2.5/5) and Faction Wars (2.5/5), where he works as an Ogryn damage dealer. In Clan Boss and Hydra (2/5) he brings little, and in Chimera (1.5/5) nothing at all.
Stats and gear
Priority: Attack → Critical Rate → Critical Damage → Speed → Accuracy. Rough targets: 3,500–4,500 Attack, 85–100% Critical Rate, 150–200% Critical Damage, 170–200 Speed, and 200–250 Accuracy if you want reliable Turn Meter cuts in Arena and on high waves. Sets: Attack set, Critical Rate or Critical Damage set, Speed boots. The listed relics are Tempus Sanguinis and Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
The listed build uses Expeditious Exploitation and Gathering Momentum. As a damage dealer he also wants standard Offense picks (Warmaster against bosses, Helmsmasher for Arena and wave clears). No blessing is listed — the usual damage-dealer choice (Phantom Touch, Cruelty) applies, but for his Arena job it is secondary.
Tombs
Book the A2 first: tomes raise the Turn Meter cut chance (up to roughly 75%) and give -1 cooldown on the last level, and it is his main skill. Then the A3 for -2 cooldown, meaning more Turn Meter fills and Speed debuffs. A1 books are pure damage and come last. The site author is clear that tomes are worth investing here.
Verdict
A solid Epic damage dealer with an Arena aura and AoE control, but the house verdict is vault (fusion): build him if you need Ogryn control or a Faction Wars closer, not as an all-rounder.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
