Fleshmonger — guide
Guide: Fleshmonger
In short
Fleshmonger is a Rare Attack champion of the Skinwalkers faction with Magic affinity. He only shows up in early Arena (3.0) and Faction Wars (2.5); everywhere else in PvE he is weak. If you do build him, priority goes to Speed and Accuracy, not damage.
Strengths
- Thunder Axe is an AoE hitting the whole enemy team with a 50% chance to place 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns.
- Fresh Meat gives himself +25% ATK and +15% C.RATE for 2 turns and then an extra turn — free buff plus an extra action.
- Total Carnage hits 3 times, so on-hit effects trigger more and shields get chewed through faster.
- Aura: +23% Ally ATK in Dungeons — usable on a fresh account.
- Magic affinity lines up well against Force enemies.
Weaknesses
- Poor base kit: 92 SPD is slow for a debuffer, 1 288 ATK is low for a damage dealer, 870 DEF means he folds to one burst.
- Decrease DEF is only a 50% chance and will miss without Accuracy.
- One AoE, no control, no survivability: useless in Clan Boss (2.0), Hydra (1.0) and Chimera (1.5).
- The site author's verdict is blunt — fodder. Investing resources into him rarely pays back.
Where to use
Best spot is Arena (3.0): lead with Fresh Meat (ATK and C.RATE buff plus extra turn), then Thunder Axe to drop Decrease DEF on the enemy team. Second is Faction Wars (2.5), where he is just a filler body for Skinwalkers. The only PvE entry in his build is Campaign, Hard 2-12 (Rare Magic Heroes). Dungeons, Hard mode, Doom Tower and Clan Boss (2.0) are not his content, and Hydra (1.0) is a hard no.
Stats and gear
Speed first — he has to move before the enemy to land his buff and debuff. Then Accuracy (roughly 150–200 for dungeons so Decrease DEF sticks), Crit Rate up to 100% counting his own +15% buff, then Crit Damage and ATK. Sets: Speed plus Perception early on; don't burn good gear on him. The relic listed in his build is Malefic Talon.
Masteries and blessings
Offense tree, with Pierce Defenses as the listed pick; fill in Accuracy/crit masteries and one boss finisher (Warmaster or Giantslayer depending on your needs). Blessings are not listed in his build and are not worth investing in at all.
Tombs
If you actually play him, book Fresh Meat first: two books cut the cooldown, so the buff-plus-extra-turn loop comes up much more often. Then Thunder Axe, where books raise the Decrease DEF chance. Leave Total Carnage alone — books there only add damage.
Verdict
Fodder with two decent buttons. Fine for early Arena and Faction Wars, then he belongs on the shelf — or in the meat grinder.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
