Frostbringer — guide
Guide: Frostbringer
In short
Frostbringer is an Epic Support from the Sacred Order (Magic affinity) who hands the whole team 30% Increase SPD and 50% Increase ATK while dropping Heal Reduction and Decrease DEF on enemies. Per the site's ratings she peaks in Faction Wars (4/5) and is merely average everywhere else. Build her fast and accurate — damage is not her job.
Strengths
- Frost Wind gives every ally 30% Increase SPD and 50% Increase ATK for 2 turns from a single cast — tempo and damage in one button.
- Passive adds +33% DEF to allies in Dungeons, free survivability for dungeon runs.
- Blizzard hits random targets 3 times and converts Heal Reduction into 60% Decrease DEF for 2 turns — a real answer to healer-heavy waves.
- Her best score is 4/5 in Faction Wars, where she genuinely earns the slot.
- Epic rarity: cheaper to book and easier to slot into a budget team.
Weaknesses
- The whole combo rests on the 15% Heal Reduction chance from her A1 — if it doesn't land, Blizzard never applies Decrease DEF.
- Her damage scales off ATK, but base ATK is only 870 — do not build her as a damage dealer.
- Base 110 SPD with modest HP/DEF: without speed and survivability gear she simply doesn't take turns.
- No heal, no shield, no cleanse — she only "supports" through buffs.
- 2.5 in Hydra and Doom Tower: both modes have better options.
Where to use
Faction Wars first (4/5) — that's her home. Chimera (3.5) is the second-best fit. Clan Boss, Arena, Dungeons and Hard mode all sit at 3.0, meaning usable filler at best; the dungeon passive gives her a small extra edge in Dungeons. Skip Hydra and Doom Tower (2.5) — she doesn't justify the slot there.
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD → ACC → survivability. Rough targets: SPD 200–230, ACC 200–250 (more for Clan Boss and Hydra so the debuffs actually stick), HP 40–50k+, DEF 2–2.5k. Ignore C.RATE and ATK despite the ATK scaling.
Recommended sets from the build: Speed + Lifesteal. If she keeps dying, swap the second set for something defensive — just don't lose SPD or ACC.
Masteries and blessings
Mastery picks: Invigorated, Targetfinder, Expeditious Exploitation, Gathering Momentum — a support/speed-oriented spread, not a damage one. Relics listed: Orb of Transfixion and Perched Shadow. No blessing is specified, so if you use one, pick for survivability rather than damage.
Tombs
Book Frost Wind first — level 2 gives cooldown -1 for a single book and immediately raises the uptime of the SPD/ATK buffs. Then put books into the A1 so the Heal Reduction chance climbs from 15% to 35%; without it Blizzard does nothing extra. Blizzard's cooldown -1 is its 6th level, i.e. five books for one effect — only worth it if you're committing to her.
Verdict
Vault (fusion) — keep her for Faction Wars and leave her out of serious teams. Gear her for speed and accuracy, nothing else.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
