Guardian — guide
Guide: Guardian
In short
Guardian is a Rare HP-type from the Outlaws: 19,155 HP at 6★, but only 96 SPD and 925 DEF. His selling point is "Prayer", which puts Block Debuffs, Counterattack and 15% Regen on himself for 2 turns in a single cast. Build him for Faction Wars only — otherwise he is vault material (fusion).
Strengths
- "Prayer" — three buffs in one press: Block Debuffs, Counterattack and 15% Regen for 2 turns. Few Rares can match that package.
- His basic "Cleaving Strike" has a 50% chance to decrease the duration of an enemy's buffs by 2 turns — light buff control on his A1.
- "Tempest" hits random targets 4 times, each hit with a 30% chance to place Block Buffs for 2 turns — decent debuff spread across a team.
- Aura: +27% HP to allies in Dungeons, which is a real help for an undergeared team.
Weaknesses
- 96 SPD and 925 DEF — slow and soft, so Regen gets stripped or outdamaged before it matters.
- Every chance in his kit is 30–50%: without ACC almost nothing lands, and even with ACC it is unreliable.
- His damage scales off both ATK and HP, but with 826 ATK he hits like a noodle.
- All of "Prayer" is self-only — he brings nothing to the team except the aura.
Where to use
- Faction Wars (2.5/5) — his best home: HP aura plus self-survival from Counterattack and Regen.
- Dungeons, Clan Boss, Chimera (2.0/5) — only as a warm body early on, if you have no real tank.
- Arena and Doom Tower (1.5/5) — not his format: too slow, no team utility.
- Hydra and Hard mode (1.0/5) — skip him entirely there.
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD → HP% → ACC. Rough targets: SPD 170–200, ACC 150–200 (for "Tempest" and his A1 debuffs), HP 50,000+, DEF 2,000+. HP% gloves and chest, SPD boots. Do not chase C.RATE or C.DMG — he will not deal damage either way. Sets: Speed, Immortal, Regeneration, Perception if you need ACC.
Masteries and blessings
The author's list gives Invigorated and Targetfinder. Tree-wise, go Support (survivability and ACC) and Defense; leave the Attack tree alone. Relic from the build: Orb of Transfixion. No blessing is listed — not worth investing in a vault champion.
Tombs
If you must book him, start with "Prayer": it has a single upgrade level and it is cooldown -1, the biggest gain. Then "Tempest" for the cooldown -1 at level 6. But he is fusion fodder, so save tomes for real champions.
Verdict
A very narrow champion: three self-buffs, weak damage and low speed. Keep him for Faction Wars and do not spend gear or books on him.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.

Warden Raid Shadow Legends is a hero from the "The Corrupted" union of the "Knights Revenant" faction. His main role in the team is HP. Warden can apply 3 positive effects to himself at once with a single ability: Block Debuffs, Counterattack, and Continuous Heal. Not many heroes can boast that.
