Arbalester — guide
Guide: Arbalester
In short
Arbalester is a Rare Attack champion from the Undead Hordes with Void affinity. Her kit is narrow: the first skill moves a random debuff off herself onto the enemy, the second puts the target's skills on cooldown, and the third hits harder the more debuffs the target carries. She is only worth building for that one niche job — otherwise she is food.
Strengths
- Skill 1 moves a random debuff from herself to the target at 50% (up to 75% with books) — a free mini-cleanse against poison, HP burn or heal block.
- Skill 2 has a 60% chance to put the enemy's skills on cooldown and reaches 100% with books, which can break Arena combos.
- Skill 3 scales off the number of debuffs on the target, so in longer fights under stacked debuffs it hits well above its baseline.
- Void affinity means no weak matchups — her damage lands consistently everywhere.
Weaknesses
- 1,421 base Attack is very low for a damage dealer; even good gear leaves modest numbers.
- 661 Defense and 14,205 HP make her paper-thin — any AoE nuke deletes her.
- 96 Speed is slow, so her skill cycle drags and she takes few turns.
- No buffs for the team and no real debuffs for the team: just personal damage and two situational effects.
Where to use
Her best rating is Clan Boss (3/5): self debuff transfer plus the debuff-scaling nuke at least gives her a job in a long fight.
- Arena (2/5) — a narrow pick against champions with key actives; the cooldown lock genuinely disrupts rotations.
- Chimera (2/5) and Faction Wars (2/5) — filler for an Undead Hordes team when the slot is otherwise empty.
- Dungeons, Hydra, Hard mode and Doom Tower are all 1/5 — do not bring her there.
Stats and gear
Priority: ATK% → Crit Rate to 100% → Crit Damage → Speed. If you use her in Arena or dungeons, add 150–200 Accuracy so the cooldown lock lands. Aim for roughly 170–190 Speed just to take turns at all.
Sets: Attack, Crit Rate, Speed; Accuracy if she is short on ACC. From the build list she carries the Malefic Talon relic.
Masteries and blessings
Main tree is Attack, with Pierce Defenses as the listed key mastery. Fill Support if you need Accuracy, or Defense for survivability — though with her base stats that is treating symptoms. No blessing is specified in the build, and pouring resources into one makes little sense given the verdict.
Tombs
If you book her at all, do skill 2 first: each level adds 10% chance, and that skill is her only real role. Then skill 1 (transfer chance up to 75%), and skill 3 last — its only upgrade is one turn off the cooldown at level 4. Honestly, the books are better spent elsewhere.
Verdict
Food. Keep her only as Faction Wars filler for the Undead Hordes, or as a niche cooldown locker in Arena when nothing else fills the slot.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
