Thrall — guide
Guide: Thrall
In short
Thrall is a Common Attack champion from the Knight Revenant faction with Magic affinity. All he does is a default attack with a 5% chance to land an extra hit, so he does not belong in any serious content. The site verdict is blunt: food — feed him into better champions, not the other way round.
Strengths
- Magic affinity: he hits Spirit enemies without a penalty, which occasionally matters early on.
- The 5% extra hit can finish off a nearly dead target or strip the last sliver of a shield.
- Common rarity means duplicates drop often, so his skill can be levelled without tomes.
- On a brand-new account with no real damage dealer, he can still help clear the Campaign.
Weaknesses
- Terrible base stats: 958 ATK and 584 DEF at 6★ — less damage than most starter champions.
- 97 SPD means he moves after almost everything and often dies before his turn.
- No debuffs, no buffs, no utility — just raw damage from a single skill.
- Useless against bosses: no multipliers, no poisons, nothing.
Where to use
His best ratings are Dungeons (1.0), Chimera (1.0) and Hard mode (1.0) — but that is one out of five, meaning only the earliest stages and Campaign while you are starting out. In Clan Boss, Hydra, Arena, Doom Tower and Faction Wars he sits at 0.5, which is where he belongs. His only real job is being fed to a proper champion.
Stats and gear
There is no build for him and no need for one. If you must use him on the first stages, prioritise ATK% → SPD → C.RATE, with rough starter targets of around 150 SPD, 2000+ ATK and 100% C.RATE. Sets: whatever is cheapest — Speed plus Attack. Do not give him gear above 4★ and do not break good sets for him.
Masteries and blessings
Skip masteries. If you absolutely insist, take the standard Attack tree: Deadly Precision, Keen Strike, Heart of Glory, Whirlwind of Death. Accuracy masteries are pointless because he has no debuffs to land. Blessings: don't spend anything — a cheap damage blessing at most, and only if you truly have spare resources.
Tombs
Do not use tomes on a Common champion — level the skill with duplicates. If a tome lands in your lap anyway, take the damage levels first (+5%/+5%/+5%/+10%) and leave the two +5% bonus-hit-chance levels for last.
Verdict
Food, nothing more: no gear, no masteries, no tomes — send Thrall into a champion who will actually carry you.
