Channeler — guide
Guide: Channeler
In short
Channeler is a Rare Support champion from the Skinwalkers faction with Spirit affinity. His one genuinely useful tool is a team-wide Speed buff that also fills Turn Meters, plus a Stun chance and Heal Reduction on his single-target hits. He is only worth building for Faction Wars, and even there on leftover gear.
Strengths
- His Speed buff skill gives allies +30% SPD for 2 turns and fills their Turn Meters by 15% — the whole run speeds up, not just one champion.
- The stun skill lands a 1-turn Stun, and Tomes push the chance up to 75%.
- A1 applies 50% Heal Reduction (chance up to 35% with skill levels) — handy against healing enemies in Faction Wars.
- Aura: +30 RES to allies in Faction Wars — a free bonus that is the main reason to slot him at all.
Weaknesses
- Weak base stats: 103 SPD, 881 ATK, 1,002 DEF, while all his damage scales off ATK — wasted on a support.
- Control is single-target and unreliable: both the Stun and the Heal Reduction last only 1 turn.
- No healing, no shields, no revive — as a support he only brings Speed.
- Tombs and gear sunk into him are usually needed on other champions.
Where to use
Best area is Faction Wars (2.5/5), where the aura and the Speed buff actually matter. In Clan Boss, Hydra, Arena and dungeons (2.0) he falls short — ATK-based damage, 103 base SPD and single-target control are simply not enough. Doom Tower and Chimera (1.5) — skip him.
Stats and gear
Priority: SPD, then ACC, then HP and DEF. Rough targets for Faction Wars: 190–220 SPD so the buff goes out before the enemy acts, 200–250 ACC or the Stun and Heal Reduction will keep getting resisted, and enough HP/DEF to survive to the second wave. Ignore C.RATE and C.DMG entirely. Sets: Speed, Perception, Immortal. Relics from the build list: Journal of Necrotos and Molten Deathbell.
Masteries and blessings
The listed build takes In For The Kill (Attack tree) and Invigorated (Support tree). The Attack tree is close to useless on a support — if you redo masteries yourself, go Support and Defense instead. No specific blessings are listed, and a Rare is not worth blessing resources.
Tombs
Book the Speed buff skill first: two levels each cut 1 turn of cooldown, so the SPD buff and Turn Meter fill come back almost without gaps. Then book the stun skill for the extra Stun chance. If you are not pushing Faction Wars, do not spend Tombs on Channeler at all.
Verdict
Food. Keep one copy for Faction Wars for the aura and Speed buff; everything else goes to the vault or the blender.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
