Ursine Icecrusher — guide
Guide: Ursine Icecrusher
In short
Ursine Icecrusher is an Epic Defense champion of the Skinwalkers faction with Force affinity. He is not about damage — he is about keeping the team alive: his passive gives allies +25% HP in all battles, cuts the critical damage the team takes by 15%, and fills his Turn Meter every time he gets hit. Build priority is medium: level him mainly for Faction Wars.
Strengths
- Passive aura of +25% HP for all allies in every battle — free survivability, huge in Faction Wars.
- The team takes 15% less critical damage thanks to his passive, which matters against bosses and in long fights.
- Both active skills scale off Defense (3× DEF), so one gear set gives him damage and tankiness at once.
- His A2 hits all enemies and has a 75% chance to place −30% C.RATE for 2 turns.
- Passive fills his Turn Meter by 5% on every weak, normal or strong hit he takes — he cycles faster than his base 93 Speed suggests.
Weaknesses
- Base Speed of 93 is low; without Speed gear he sits at the back of the queue.
- Weak ratings almost everywhere: Hydra 1.0, Dungeons 1.0, Hard 1.0, Doom Tower 1.0.
- Debuffs are low impact: only 10% Block Active Skills on the A1, and −C.RATE is not always needed.
- Damage is negligible even with 3× DEF scaling — he is no damage dealer.
Where to use
His best area is Faction Wars (2.5/5), where the HP aura and passive do real work. In Clan Boss (2.0) he can act as a budget support-tank, but he brings no debuffs for the boss, so his value is limited. Chimera and Arena are 1.5 — early Arena at best. Keep him out of Hydra, Dungeons, Hard and Doom Tower (all 1.0).
Stats and gear
Priority: DEF → HP → SPD → ACC. Targets: DEF 3000+, HP 40–50k, SPD 170–200 (160+ is fine in Faction Wars), ACC 200+ so the A2 lands. Ignore C.RATE and C.DMG — they do nothing for him.
Sets: Defense, Speed, Perception, Immortal. Relics from the build: Gilded Dragonstone, Perched Shadow.
Masteries and blessings
The listed build runs Invigorated, Strengthening Will, Expeditious Exploitation and Gathering Momentum — survivability and Speed. If you use him in Clan Boss, finish the Offense tree with Warmaster for extra damage. Blessings are a low priority: epic souls are rare, so take whatever gives defense or team support.
Tombs
Book the A2 first — the AoE with −C.RATE. Its max level adds debuff chance and cuts the cooldown by 1 turn, which is the most valuable upgrade he has. Booking the A1 for a 10% Block Active Skills chance is barely worth it.
Verdict
Worth building, but narrowly — as a tanky aura bot for Faction Wars. He has no place in high-end content.
Build
The build is a guideline: the first sets in the list fit most often. Adapt it to your artifacts and goals.
