Guide: Rebellious Knight

In short

Rebellious Knight is a Common HP-type champion from the Undead Hordes with Magic affinity. He doesn't shine anywhere — campaign, Clan Boss, dungeons, Arena, all rated 0.5 out of 5. The build priority is simple: don't build him, use him as food to rank up champions that actually do something.

Strengths

  • The passive "Retribution" gives a 30% chance to counterattack whenever he takes damage — the occasional free hit.
  • His A1 "Rusty Blade" has a 15% chance to place Sleep for 1 turn, so he can randomly switch off one enemy.
  • As a Common HP champion he is cheap to level and easy to skill up with duplicates.
  • 13,545 HP at 6★ means he at least survives a hit or two in the very early campaign.

Weaknesses

  • No AoE, no buffs, no real debuffs — just a random Sleep on a single target.
  • Sleep is removed by any damage, and his own counterattack wakes the target up — the two abilities work against each other.
  • 551 ATK and 749 DEF: his damage is negligible and he folds against any serious content.
  • 99 SPD and 0 ACC — he rarely lives long enough to land the debuff at all.

Where to use

Honestly, nowhere. He is dead weight in Clan Boss, Hydra, Chimera, Arena, dungeons, Hard mode and Doom Tower. The only spot where he can still be slotted is Faction Wars, filling an empty slot for a clear until you pull a real Undead champion. The rest of the time he sits in the vault or goes into the food pile.

Stats and gear

Don't spend real gear or silver on him — other champions need it. If you absolutely must fill a Faction Wars slot, prioritise HP% → SPD → ACC (accuracy only matters for the Sleep chance on his A1; aim for roughly 100–150). From the set list, Life and Speed are the only ones worth mentioning, with Accuracy as an optional third. Keep it cheap: no reforge, no glyphs, and ignore C.RATE and C.DMG entirely.

Masteries and blessings

Skip masteries — that's wasted scrolls. If he is parked in Faction Wars, a basic Defense plus Support spread (HP and damage reduction nodes) is more than enough; nothing in the Offense tree changes his output. Don't spend blessings on him either: he isn't worth a single awakening scroll, even a spare one.

Tombs

Don't use Tomes. Only the A1 can be booked (higher damage and a slightly better Sleep chance), but even a fully booked Rusty Blade doesn't make him playable. Save those books for Common or Rare champions that will actually clear content for you.

Verdict

Food, and nothing else — keep him in the vault until you need a rank-up body for a champion worth six stars. Gear, masteries, Tomes or blessings on Rebellious Knight are pure waste.
